We all remember how Dabo supported Battle in his decision to enter the supplemental draft. By all accounts at the time, that decision was Battle's and his alone. It was not revealed until later that Battle did not have much of a choice after all, Dabo simply let him resign instead of firing him so that his draft status, whatever it was, wouldn't be further hurt.

We're basically being told the same thing now. I realize Battle and Reader are not very similar at all on the surface, but when Dabo says that this is Reader's decision, that's BS and I'm not buying it. To me, that's the same as if Dabo said that Lakip had decided to leave football for a few games; he made that decision when he chose to possess cocaine and drive under the influence. Dabo's lying without actually lying. Dabo says this is not disciplinary, but he would have never told you that Battle's decision was disciplinary either.

I don't know what's going on, but this has more positive spin on it than a tie-dye T shirt. Some speculated as much yesterday, and I criticized, but now I'm on their side of the fence. It's the only way this makes sense. The assumption yesterday that this had something to do with depression or mental health does not make sense. You don't send a guy with mental issues to ACC media day.
