I already put out my thoughts on the to 100 two days ago. Today Rivals released the rest of the rivals 250 for the 2017 class. Here are some of the guys we are after and my opinions on them
103 OT Adrian Ealy LA - Long shot, but does have a Clemson offer. You don't pull kids out of Louisiana that LSU wants
106 DT Eric Crosby VA - Very talented, but slightly undersized DT. Virginia is the leader here
109. Ath Jamyest Williams GA - If I haven't made this clear he is my favorite recruit for the 2017 cycle. I think he is a top 50 kid at DB or slot receiver. He listed us as his leader yesterday, but its a long way to go
122. RB Collin Wilson FLA - Big talented back with a Clemson offer, but we aren't pushing yet
127 QB Chase Brice GA - Wouldn't be surprised if he was our first commit for the 2017 class. Very accurate QB on the run. Probably wouldn't have him this high, but would be a solid pickup none the less
128 OT Teddarral Slaton Fla - huge offensive lineman from Florida with a Clemson offer
129 OLB Robert Beal Ga - Talented outside linebacker that I have heard good things about, but we aren't a factor for right now
135 DL MJ Webb GA - It appears Auburn and Georgia lead for him
139 LB Leonard Warner GA - Talented Georgia linebacker that I like. I don't think he has a Clemson offer, but I read where he wanted one
143 LB Anthony HInes TX - Has a Clemson offer, but I don't see us being a factor
144 LB Drew Singleton NJ - Has a Clemson offer. Rashan Gary's teammate. I don't see us being a factor unless we can pull a miracle and land Gary
145 WR Ryan Jones NC - Clemson offered early, but has cooled on him. I think if we pushed we would have a good shot with him. Tennessee and NC State also are in good position
160 QB Jake Bentley Ala - We all have none about this kid for a long time. I assume he will end up wherever his father is coaching which appears to be Auburn for now
162 DE Xach GIll NC - Not sure what the story is here because it doesn't seem that we have offered
169 WR Emmanuel Greene Fla - Really exciting explosive slot receiver that goes to IMG. Right now is a strong Ohio State lean
172 LB Levi Draper Okl - Recent offer from Brent Venables. Too early to tell if there is legit interest
174 LB Jaden Hunter GA - Really like this kid a lot. Recently visited with Malik Herring. We have a chance, but I think Georgia and Alabama and the SEC is a little more attractive to him currently.
193 DT Cameron Spence Fla - Another IMG kid. Last I heard we were in pretty good shape here, but I could be wrong
197 OT D'Ante Demetry Ga - Huge OT prospect that has been on our radar for a long time. I still don't think he has a Clemson offer yet though
218 DT Grant Gibson NC - mallard creek kid that would like a Clemson offer. Little surprised he is ranked higher than his 2 OT teammates
218 WR Keyshawn Johnson Jr CA - We all know about this kid. I think the staff has kind of cooled on him some. Decent prospect, but got a lot of exposure early from his fathers name
219 DE Joshuan Paschal MD - Former teammate of Dorian O'Daniel. His other teammate Jordan Anthony is a top 100 ranked LB. Ohio State and Kentucky are his early favorites
226 ATH Derrek Pitts WVA - His film really checks out. I think he best projects as a Safety or Nickle, but the kid can play. I think he is a top 100 prospect
229 TE Will Register SC - Clemson recently offered, but he committed South Carolina the next day. Good instate TE
232 OT Trey Smith TN - Little surprised he wasn't higher on the list. Tennessee, Bama and Ole Miss are in good shape early.
234 OT Andrew Thomas GA - He likes Clemson a lot early.
237 DE Yetur Matos VA - Recently camped at Clemson. I think if we continue to push we could have a good chance here. Earned an offer at camp.
238 DE Zachary Carter Fla - Tampa kid that we offered a couple months ago. With the Tampa connection I think we have a pretty good shot here
243 CB Trajan Bandy Fla - Undersized CB, but this kids film checks out. Reminds me a lot of Robbie Robinson from this year. The kid is a playmaker
250 WR Trey Blount GA - Atlanta area WR that would really like a Clemson offer.
Notable omissions:
1. Juwan Burgess Fla - I don't understand how he is not a top 75 player let alone top 250 player.
2. Shi Smith SC - A little surprised he wasn't ranked in that 200-250 range, but it is not as bad of a miss as Juwan Burgess.
