OH MY GOD.
Recently, I had to use my wife's computer for a few weeks while mine was getting its screen fixed. She doesn't have chrome. So I used Firefox to browse TI.
I have to say, the board is literally unreadable without the chrome extension that EVERYONE WHO USES CHROME SHOULD USE.
its called "Rivals board Enhancements" and can be found in the chrome web store. its free, and if you arent using it, I can assure you that you have an inferior experience, relative to those of us who are, when viewing TI.
For one, the app gets rid of the sidebar to the right of the board. Which also does away with the videos. You will still hear them, but they dont take up 1/3rd of the screen. But it gets rid of all that bush league white space as well and makes the board FAR FAR more readable.
Here is the whole list of things it can do (all of these can be turned on or off). It totally changes the way you experience TI for the better.
Hide the rightmost sidebar in all views.
Force page to take up the full width.
Show the "toggle sidebar" button.
Remove page header and footers and unneeded whitespace.
Display white background instead of off-grey in page margins.
Stripe alternating rows of threads and posts.
When viewing forum thread list...
Compress thread title, starter, and time to one line. Remove additional padding.
Minimize separation between sticky and normal threads.
Remove separation between sticky and normal threads.
Hide the original poster's avatar.
Hide the last poster's avatar.
Always show page buttons for multi-page threads.
Highlight threads that you've viewed that have new posts.
When reading threads...
Remove excess whitespace in and around posts.
Collapse the user info in thread view. Details can be shown by hovering over the user avatar.
Leave the member/moderator badges visible when collapsing user info.
Display dark usernames.
Replace round avatars with square versions. Gif avatars will work.
Live Updates...
Update threads as new posts are added.
