LDU received a 15 yard personal foul because a DL continued with the play and tackle after losing his helmet. To me he was putting nobody but himself in danger and not "fouling" the other team. I would think an illegal participation 5 yard penalty would be in order. Or nothing at all. Totally different if he had whacked a Syracuse player who had lost a helmet. Or blow it dead.
