His comment was over the top. But let’s not forget that Rush was a terrible human being. I could list a LONG list of terrible things he did in his lifetime. But calling a teenage Chelsea Clinton the White House dog should be all you need to condemn him.

Actually hope @okclem doesn't get what he is due... for if he is given grace then surely I will be too. By all accounts, Rush was actually a kind and decent man. We should pity those who have been coached to hate him.

Well, one thing is clear in this exchange.... And that is that you never actually listened to Rush Limbaugh...except perhaps the audio cut ups trumpeted inside your leftist echo chamber. I spent a good part of my late teenage and early adult years not liking Rush either, but then I actually started listening to him and did a complete 180.
Even left wingers knew him to be a decent man. Not that it proves anything, but did you know Elton John played at his wedding?
