You are hearing it here first

Yes the war in Ukraine will end in a few months.

And yes there will be lots of bumps in getting the peace,

But folks I am predicting a future ally of Russia with the West and US against China

Believe it when I say it because I believe it

Russians are culturally more like the West than Chinese

So guess where that fact will take them

Yep right into the arms of the West

Its going to happen

That would not be a bad move for Russia, but it's not going to happen yet. Too many old guys that came up in the cold war are in power in Russia.

Russia is already sucking up to China in order to get weapons and ammo for the war in Ukraine. Ending the war in Ukraine would require a major loss of face, something Putin isn't willing to do. As long as they view NATO as a threat they'll never ally with the west. Putin and his clique have a 19th century view of power politics and want to basically bring back the Tsar's empire.

ya .... this is true .... but .... In the early 90's through the end of the decade the United States and Russia were on a path that couldve led to them being allies. I doubt our countries wouldve ever been all "snuggly" like the US and the UK, but certainly were on a "ally" path .............then Putin was "elected".

Nah I don’t think so. Russia is part of BRICS and is trading in its own, and its Allie’s currencies and the dollar is dying as reserve world currency. This war is about Western hegemony and NATO has acted towards this since day one. NATO signed an agreement with Gorbechov promising not to expand eastward towards Russia and has done so for thirty years. Biden blowing up Nordstream was the last straw and may drive us to world war. China and Russia are already active trading partners and in reality Russias life line along with India and others buying their oil and gas. China is trying to broker for peace so Russia will be a more viable business partner with them.

beyond the obvious, they are actively pursuing ending us hegemony and the dollars place as the global reserve currency. they are recruiting countries (fairly successfully) around the world to their coalition pushing back against the low hanging fruit of the western worlds leadership insanity in policy and total absence of conviction in their perpetually shifting principles.

just cant see this playing out any time in the foreseeable future, but like the late great billy shakespeare said "misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows." hard times are coming and things can change quick, so i wouldnt completely rule it out.

as things stand just see no way now that theyre gaining momentum ie the saudis brazil india among others all gravitating towards their outlook on the west, and now finding their most influential geopolitical ally in china. i realistically can only see them turning to the west if they realize china just needs them for cheap energy/resources and their status as a nuclear power to destabilize the us and will kick them to the curb as any sort of equal the second they could elevate themselves to the worlds dominant power.

You are touching on another path that is very possible depending on circumstances

The move through Afghanistan and Iran bry China to create a land portal and also the cozying up to Russia gor oil by India and China is really concerning

That is not off the table

The world could get pushed there if our diplomat's lay the wrong cards
