I haven't seen too many threads about the game experience (not to be confused with the in-game thread.) Haven't looked too hard either. anyways. . .
  • super cold to start the tailgating experience. But the sun came out and a gorgeous day.
  • the VAST majority of gamecock fans were chill and gracious.
  • entering the stadium, the lines for security, etc were fast and efficient - not sure if other shad delays?
  • the one gamecock fan in our section was overserved, fell over into some older folks, and had to be helped up. She was in our face anytime the cocks did something positive
  • the North stands were warm and comfortable, I'd imagine the South stands were frigid.
  • props to the student section - not an empty seat from the beginning until the end.
  • I thought the entire in-stadium experience was fantastic. good video content, good energy. nice folks around us.
  • so proud of the clemson fans - we just do things right. applauding cancer kids, military, injured players from both sides.
  • go visit another stadium and compare.
  • the game was super entertaining, I know not the result we wanted but enjoyed the game.
  • Sellers is a tremendous athlete (captain obvious)
  • post game - again the vast majority of cock fans were fine.
  • the gamecock fans on the balcony opposite the tennis courts needed a beating. they were cussing at all tiger fans walking down town.
In summation, as an older guy, Clemson game days are so special. Win or lose it was a great day in the Valley with friends and family. I think it is the perspective. Suffered through Hatfield, West and CTB. . the foundation of my fandom wasn't born on easy wins with generational QBs. . . would be interested to hear what others thought of the game experience.
