My question would be how much do you trust Florida's reporting. I think I would trust them more if they were fully transparent.Florida is beginning to drop fairly steeply both in Cases and in Hospitalizations.
Oddly enough, and I don't mean to get political but.....The cases began to decline roughly the exact same time that kids went back to school. They have been flat or declining the last 2 weeks with the majority of schools not requiring masks. This week case counts are actually falling sharply. So it kind of makes you question yet again if it ever made sense to hold them out.
SC daily cases have decreased every day since the 25th. Down about 1200 case per day.SC on the other hand is still very much in the middle of their peak. This is the worst week so far for this recent surge. Very similar to what we went through back in January after the holidays. Lets hope and pray that it starts to go the other direction soon.
Again I ask. Why so many probables to push 3500 cases to 5000 for their tweet when testing is done left and right for every person with even a sniffle?SC on the other hand is still very much in the middle of their peak. Just a thought here but maybe because lack of vacations for those families who are back in school is why Florida is seeing a drop in cases and hospitalizations?Florida is beginning to drop fairly steeply both in Cases and in Hospitalizations.

No clue. It was just an observation.Just a thought here but maybe because lack of vacations for those families who are back in school is why Florida is seeing a drop in cases and hospitalizations?
Not meant to be snarky either. Genuinely throwing out the idea is all.

I ignore those numbers as they will or will not end up testing positive at some point. If they do, they will be added to the confirmed number. If not, they just kind of go away. The charts on their website use the confirmed number which is still very high. My wife gets update from their leadership at the hospital every day. Cases and Hospitalizations are still very high. Lexington Hospital, not where she works, has been extremely overwhelmed for weeks now.Again I ask. Are we to believe 1500 people said to hell with getting a test and their doctor just said "we will just report a probable, no need to test"?
Interesting data hereFlorida is beginning to drop fairly steeply both in Cases and in Hospitalizations.

As of today Richland 2 has 130 positives and 1339 quarantined.
I wouldn’t call a post from a respected physician to be nonsense. Also not sure how well your Google is working. That’s Lexington1 581 to Richland2 131As of today Richland 2 has 130 positives and 1339 quarantined.
As of today Lexington 1 has 190 positives and 1476 quarantined.
A quick Google search to find their respective dashboards would have dismissed that facebook nonsense in about 2 minutes.

Have a great night though.
*her post. Both school districts have been in school the same number of days. Both are from the same region of the state. This is about as apples to apples as you can get.My bad. That was Lexington 2.
I would think masks would have completely stonewalled Covid in Richland 2 but since that 8 day mark cases have quadrupled and quarantines are up over 1000%.
The good doctor should update his post.
Cloth masks worn improperly by kids isn't going to prevent Covid transmission.
This will be the only time you’ll read South Carolina overtakes Alabama for first…at anything![]()
SC tops entire country for COVID case rate as hospital reports record COVID patient count
The infection rate in South Carolina as of Aug. 31 was 100 cases per 100,000 residents. The rate across the entire South was lower, at 76 cases per 100,000.www.postandcourier.com
Not sure if you saw this…Another 4685 confirmed positive. Fridays are usually the worst reporting day. Not quite as high as last Friday but still very high. First Friday in 4 weeks where the numbers were lower than the previous Friday. Let's hope it doesn't go higher and starts to retreat.
There are already a lot. 750,000 confirmed cases. Probably 1.5 million cases that were not known or reported.A lot of people will be running around with Natural antibodies.
Dude... I too thought that the longer the virus hung around the more variants show up.Not good news. The longer the virus continues to transmit, the more variants will be created. The Lamba, which is just getting circulated, is probably worse than Delta.
