My wife and I just got a new (to us) dog. I was running her a little bit at a local park in Newberry (the one with the Frisbee Golf Course for the locals).
There is a smallish creek running through the park, and I swear to Dabo that I thought I saw a nutria hop off the bank with a piece of young bamboo and swim into a little burrow it must have dug in the bank (but below the water line).
I know what Beavers look like up close because @Game Well , @SC Tiger , and I had to deal with a Beaver Damn at @Game Well ‘s farm one time.
This wasn’t a Beaver, and it sure as hell didn’t look like a rat.
