This video is all you need to know about Sean Hannity and Fox News.

Reminds me of that Disney movie "Up" where the dog was always distracted by a squirrel. "Quick, let's show the viewers a car chase/crash. That'll distract them from this breaking story."

If you're just now finding out that Fox News is slanted, then you've had your head in the sand, my friend.

With that said, if anyone thinks that CNN, MSNBC, etc aren't slanted in the other direction, they're just as ignorant.

The only #realnews these days, is what you witness with your own eyes.

Good thing you can look to your rock-steady prince of analysis Al Sharpton, for views and news that are informed, fair and balanced. Or Dan Rather who can invent any fairy tale you want to make you feel smug and informed.

Hannity can be a little much, but he beats the ever-living crap out of bakari it took me three times to pass the freaking South Carolina bar exam sellers.

Nothing wrong with that. I like him.

You posting this tells me all I need to know about you.

Keep watching your " unbiased " CNN.

This is the problem - you stating (accurately) that CNN is biased against Trump while not acknowledging that Fox is just as biased for Trump. Sean Hannity will literally defend ANYTHING Trump says or does, just like Don Lemon will attack ANYTHING Trump says or does. And to make it worse, everyone only wants to talk to people that believe the same thing they believe so there is no understanding of WHY the other side feels the way they do.

I have admitted that I dont like Donald Trump as I think he is divisive and overly sensitive and more concerned with keeping his base happy than trying to help the entire country, but I have to admit that some of his policies are working right now. The business community seems happy, the stock market is roaring, etc. I wish more people would try to see the middle ground...

I see you are quick to point out the conservative slant of Fox News...

but tell me another that does not have a liberal slant? I'll hang up & listen...

Almost impossible to find a down the middle newscast. The BBC does a decent job (incredible how much they report that we never hear about through the popular US news outlets).

That said, Hannity and those like him on both sides should never be confused with news reporters. They are entertainers and interesting in generating ratings. Their "analysis" will be driven by reinforcing existing viewer bias.

This. Hannity, Tucker, O'Reilly, Van Sustern, Rush, Blitzer, etc - are all News COMMENTATORS. They aren't reporting the news, they are saying what they think of the news.

Spot fvcking on. If you believe anything you hear, see, or read from any news source, you are a sucker.

I present this without comment other than to say it is very interesting and something that I think we should all take a look at

Spot on. A bigger problem is that NOBODY is reporting the news anymore. I get it that the network news anchors in the 80s and 90s were biased, but they did a pretty good job of telling you what happened and reserving most of the opinions for the editorial segments.

Where did it indicate that Fox did support/is biased towards Trump? That is what I am saying, you called out one side...

Hannity literally talked out of both sides of his mouth on the same show and you said you liked it. He basically called it fake news, then came back and said it was true but he should be able to do it.

You said I didn't acknowledge Fox was biased for Trump. I said I liked HIM ( Hannity) and didn't see anything wrong with what he said / how it handled it. And I don't. And that's my opinion.

And I gave mine. Doesn't make it right or wrong, just like yours doesn't make you right or wrong. But I will be surprised if I ever hear you acknowledge that Trump, Hannity or any of that group does or says something wrong. It just becomes "fake news", which is a slippery slope in a democracy.

And before you throw it back at me I will acknowledge that the other side does the same, and that is what I don't like. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle. When party affiliation becomes more important than what is right or wrong we are in a dangerous place.

Are you talking to me? ;)

To me.... the left is far more dangerous than the right. And it ain't even close.

You don't think there is anything wrong with a guy who essentially says, "Fake News" that the president wanted to fire Mueller (according to his sources); minutes later says, well our sources are telling us it IS true; let's talk about this tomorrow (because, after all the president calling for the firing of the special prosecutor isn't major news) because a Phoenix car chase is more important.

Shep Smith is the only credible journalist at Fox.

When is the last time Fox News broke a true news story (other than, "OMG, Obama is wearing a tan suit!")? News organizations should be breaking news. Investigating. As the old expression goes, journalists should be afflicting the comfortable and comforting the afflicted.

Making up stories about 'secret societies' at the FBI isn't breaking news. It is fabricating conspiracies.

UH-what do you say about CNN and PMSNBC

With respect, I do not understand this. From what has been seen in other countries it appears to me that extremism on either side of the political spectrum is equally destructive when they take control of a country. Venezuala under Chavez is a leftist example while Chile under Pinochet is at the other end of the spectrum. These being more recent examples. More extreme examples would be Hitler and Mussolini versus Stalin and Mao, I suppose.

You keep confirming what I am saying. How do you know if all you listen to is Fox News. Just like someone that listens to nothing but MSNBC is going to say the right is the problem and it's not even close.

Listen to different perspectives, try to understand what they are saying and why they feel that way. Then form your own opinion. That is what is lacking in this country..... again, ON BOTH SIDES

@amynhop Please watch this analysis and ask yourself, "how does this network response from Fox - essentially ignoring/dissing their own news findings - serve the American public?" How does this even meet Fox's 'standards' for fairness and accuracy?

And even though this comes to us from the Washington Post, it is simply playing clips from Fox News so we know it isn't FAKE news.

this is such a stupid thought and just enables people to ignore news they don't like

@amynhop you know I love you hon, despite our political differences, but you are dead wrong on this one.

Both ends of the political spectrum are really bad news.

At the far end of the left is communism and the suppression of everything free and hardworking in the name of "fairness" and "protecting the people". It's a blight on the world. On the other hand you have all these Nazis and Arian nation folks on the far right where Capitalism runs unchecked and a wealthy few exploit their workers for their own enrichment. Pick your poison, America is toast either way if one side "wins".

The center is where it's at. Take the best of both views and reject the crazy on both sides.

Where in my post did I indicate that FOX does not support Trump?

I totally disagree with anyone who thinks FOX supports Trump as a singular individual

I believe Fox has found a financial business sweet spot and business model supporting conservative ideals

I being a voting independent and Southern white male do not particularly find DT attractive as a person but find that his policies are Golden for America and he tries to do what he speaks

The real interesting part of the Deep State attempt at Coup against a legally elected president is coming to a head

Some of my government contacts say the Memo about to be released will result in many careers over. Federal prison time for many

I hear of Obama being implicated in spying far worse than Watergate and a spine numbing shakeup in the Democratic Party

We will just have to wait and see as I am interested in reading the details

The road through life runs smooth and true when you stick to the middle

The danger is thinking the ditches on both sides are best

The present day left is huge on controlling ignorant uneducated people for the benefit of the left agenda

Just watch DACA and learn if the left cares about people
