Second Friday Staff Update

Noon has passed with no word on Tony Elliott's decision on Virginia, Duke, or remaining at Clemson.
Our sources maintain that Elliott is genuinely conflicted and torn on what to do as he contemplates the move to be a head coach.
Both Virginia and Duke have been patient as they await word from Elliott. As of last night our sources indicated the Cavaliers wanted an answer by noon today, but our information indicates Elliott is continuing to deliberate into the afternoon.
A flight is scheduled to leave the Clemson-area airport for Charlottesville at 3:45 PM today, perhaps creating the impression that a deal is done and Elliott is going to be on the plane.
Our information as of noon does not yet point to that, though. It's possible Virginia arranged for a placeholder plane in case Elliott does decide to become the Cavaliers' coach.
It does appear some answer will come from Elliott today. In addition, Dabo Swinney is scheduled to have a staff meeting later this afternoon to address staff changes and the arrival of prospects making official visits to Clemson this weekend.
