Seriously, the one thing I think that should come of this is that a town that is 70% black should not have a police force that is 94% white. I'm not sure how it happened. The city council is bound to be 70% black and should be in control.

Sad how neutered the police are. No excuse for this kind of reaction. Real bullets at just one of these demonstrations and you won't see these clowns so eager to loot and burn down these places. Every time this happens the police are more passive and all this does is emboldenes these morons.

And a white mayor. How could it happen? I just want to know. Do they not vote? All of this would be different if he punched a black cop and was shot. Much less controversy.

Flaming liberals can be extremely racist

I don't think race should be factored in when people are hired and I also don't think you shoudl vote based on a person's race. That is anti-racism my friend

I think from your site name that you are/were an US Marine, so thanks for your service. But from your post, you are part of the problem that is going on tonight. You are trying to require cities to hire by race? Your city is bound to be the same ratio as the citizens and whichever race that is, they should be in control? I don't care what race my city ratio is, I just want level headed council members controlling it. I am retired from a local government, and I was involved in the hiring process for one of our departments. There is no way that you can choose to hire or not to hire, just on race. You have to hire the best person(s) for the position(s) available. Due to pre-employment test that were required from the state, you never knew who would qualify for the interview process.

Our city, state and federal laws apply to everyone evenly, not just to certain people of a certain race. Tonight's actions and your statements, do nothing but set racial tensions back.

LOL, you have to graduate high school and go to college to be a police officer. Also you are not allowed to have a criminal record. Do i have to spell it in crayon for you?
