Got in a conversation at the hunt club last night with one of our LMDL members from Cootlumbia (Loud Mouthed Doctor/Lawyer). More of a lecture from them - since I run the club I don't really have conversations with them I just usually let them run their mouths. They were going on and on about what a great manager Elliott would prove to be, what a genious move the great God Spurrier had made putting him in place, etc etc etc, blah blah blah blah. And then he started going on about how much dissaray Dabo had caused by the way he cleaned house and fired people left and right - he just went on and on , he's a real ass-hat . Several other members were standing around just looking at him and smiling - thinking the same thing I was , I could n't remember when and how he did it, but something must have worked, cause 1) he beat the coots that year; 2) made it to a bowl; 3) got the job; and 4) 7 years later has a stellar program in place and a top 5 ranking.
But I'm curious - who remembers the chain of events as far as staff changes he made ? When did he let Spence and that jerk Koenning go ?
