the opening college football games will turn into spreader events unto the unvaccinated, should i post it here or the roundtable ?

I don’t know what to think

two week mark of school and increased cases per friends but surprisingly no shut downs in Greenville

went to Braves game 3 weeks ago and it was packed but no Covid (yet???

we have had the initial Covid in Spring but not vaccinated

for every learned voice I hear, I consider what they say but some answers I haven’t received

what are the numbers of total deaths in our population- I don’t know

we hear that Hospitals are “maxed out” but again, it doesn’t seem as crazy as last year

I just hope that we as a people don’t lose our identities (especially our children) or our liberties

more importantly, I hope that we all turn to our respective faiths more than ever

we are all uncomfortable in some way - we are definitely not in total control

respect one another and work together

GO tigers!

Considering the MLB and NBA have been playing in front of packed houses for months and there is no coorelation with this recent spike and those crowds, I’d say no.
i was thinking that the nfl exhibition games are a good indicator too...although my question was a bit tongue in cheek for some humor on the division of the boards...on the other hand, if a few nonvaxxers are by each other yelling and screaming and one of them have it...hmmmmm

Or, perhaps they can be super-IMMUNITY-spreading events because those that are highly at risk will choose to stay home and healthy folks, if they do contract the disease, will fight it off and help create herd immunity.
Problem is the certain people that think they are healthy but somehow get the virus and end up in the hospital. One of my employees has worked for us for 10 years. Literally never missed a day of work. He’s in the ICU right now with it, non vaccinated.

It does surprise how many people are willing to take their chances. I think it comes with the fact that they have considered all the "misinformation out there, and facebook memes instead of a doctors advice.

I remember watching documentaries about the government AND doctors talking about weed making African-Americans a violent people.
What does a sheep say?

Depends on if they’ve had the virus before……natural immunity is something the CDC and media refuse to talk about.

SC has been in the top 5 in the country for covid cases per 100k people for a while now. Currently averaging right at 50 deaths per day. If you don’t have any level of concern then…well…I guess you can be lumped in with the my pillow covid is not a hoax anymore but now the vaccine is the hoax crowd

Anyone thinking it’s a hoax is just a moron.

Being scared to death is stupid and not following the science as well.

250K People or whatever it was at Lola Palooza in Chicago apparently wasn't.

...where the crowd was required to proof of vaccination or a negative covid test. Not apples to apples.

I get your point….not arguing. In your opinion you believe they were all vaccinated or negative ?

it will be a spreader even for the vaccinated….

might want to read up on data that isn’t US Gov propaganda.
Data shows that vaccinated do still have some resistance to getting Covid, just not the 96% as data showed during testing (under a different variant). The unfortunate reality is that the unvaccinated will spread at much higher rates and also have much more serious sickness.

This isn't an either or situation. Yes....vaccinated people get sick. But they don't get sick at the same rate as unvaccinated. In a state (SC) that has 43.5% of its residents fully vaccinated, 86% of the cases are unvaccinated, 72% of the hospitalizations are unvaccinated, and 78% of deaths are not fully vaccinated (data 7/16 - 8/15).

Unless they have already had the virus. In which case it is lower than the vaccinated.

They refuse to talk about it bc natural immunity isn’t a moneymaker…
Natural immunity is a great thing... but it is a helluva road to travel to arrive at that destination. Some people dont make it to the end of the road. And for those that do, there is often a heavy toll.
