So Service Dogs

All were left there in the crates.
they sniffed bombs and so much more. Put them in cargo. Hell, planes were going out 3/4 empty
Let's not forget the baby and the 24 high school students from California that was also left.

O im much more worried about our people stuck there. Just throw the dogs in cargo hole as you leave.
They are dog soldiers

The pentagon has already addressed this issue. They’re not MWD’s. The dogs in the photos are from Kabul small animal rescue.
So they admittingly don't know what equipment they left or how many Americans but we believe they know about dogs? Sounds fishy, we simply euthanized stray dogs on base in Afghanistan, I know because it was part of my job. We didn't keep them or save them. Maybe something else them pentagon wasn't ware of?

If you guys believe that photo/meme.......let's just say you need to look the word gullible up in the dictionary.

Well every handler I know would give up their own seat for their dog.

Same, but it doesn't work like that. During an actual movement I can assure you that you do what you are told. Some suggesting that their would have been some sort of mini rebellion is comical at best. I'm not saying it happened, but I'm not sure why we would believe the pentagon at this point.

After all, they told us the Aghans had a robust army of over 300,000 and it would be a long time if ever of a take over. If you can look around at a few thousand troops and see 300,000 you can overlook dogs.

Haha no doubt. I just have a hard time believing any command team would be fine leaving them. After all mistreatment of the K9’s is punishable under UCMJ. I wouldn’t want to sign off on abandoning them.

I have my doubts they did, but that I would write it off because the pentagon said it, nope. They know that people will get more angry over a dog than anything else, much less a service dog. I'm certainly not saying it happened.

I'm hearing from folks in contact with people there (now removed) saying it was service dogs but not U.S. service dogs, which makes way more sense than stray dogs.

Honestly I don't believe this - though the fact the Pentagon says they aren't service dogs has no bearing on my not believeing it. It has more to do with @Jimmy_Dickens comment.

Pentagon says they aren't service dogs, but that doesn't mean I believe them (see above)

That said - I have seen other places that they are indeed from an animal rescue service there. And one person is/was still over there with the animals.

In other words the fact that I don't believe these are service dogs is not based on the fact that the Pentagon says they aren't.
Service members wouldn't have left without their dogs.
I'd like to believe they would kill anyone who tried to make them leave their partner behind.
Let's not forget the baby and the 24 high school students from California that was also left.

Now THIS concerns me greatly. I don't see leaving a group like that behind.

Do what you gotta do, kill who you gotta kill - but get them out.

Hearing the same which, if true, makes it just as dispicable. Though not necessarily the fault of the US Military or government.

Actually I'm hearing the dogs in the carriers are from the small animal rescue, and the ones from the contractors are the ones roaming around the airport.
