I try to avoid politics and my ex-wives. Lot of similarities.

The club we belonged to in Spartanburg for many years and the club we have belong to at Murrell's Inlet the last 15 years are both discussing improvements, which means assessments and dues increases. I try to avoid all those discussions also. I am there to have fun, enjoy. Especially the club at the beach, I try to avoid discussing it.

Haha, no, but every so often I catch some ridiculous thread title under the latest posts section of the board and those are usually ridiculous enough for me to know that I don’t want to hang out there.

I havent been over in a while but do check it out every now and then. Sometimes there is good discussion but usually it is just a few libs and a few conservs attacking each other. It is what I would imagine life would be like if Tucker Carlson joined The View.

I'd say even more so than having a differing opinions, no one is allowed allowed to have nuanced opinion.
If you're not staunchly on one side or the other on any given topic, you're screwed. And honestly most things are not always purely one way or the other.
