That guy is about to spin right off this planet. It’s hilarious.Your first line is ridiculous. I’m white as they come and I would go there for 1.5 million.

To be honest, this shows those players’ true colors more than anything. Race matters more than anything to them.Everyone always tries to drag Clemson and Dabo into crap about race, so I’m here for all of this! For the record I do believe FSU fans would be just as upset if Deion and Travis Hunter were white and that this isn’t about race. Noles can enjoy their usual mess though.
1950 called. It wants its philosophy backThe implication that he only went there because of money is inherently racist in itself.. A school full of ppl that look like him had nothing to do with it. Or the fact that the black community has been pushing these hs recruits and their families to do this across the nation for some time now. There’s been a clack college push for a while now. Or the fact that now NIL is leveling the playing field: All black kids aren’t poor in the ghetto and going for the money. And shxt if he gets a 1.5 M NIL deal good for him and his family. These kids aren’t coming here or anywhere else for a degree. Campus life and experience in college I would imagine would be better there for him. If the only thing these major white schools have is better equipment and larger stadiums, then this is only the beginning. It has already started in basketball, it’s now trickling over the fball.
This wouldn’t be any different than a 5 star flipping from Clemson to Wofford after getting 1.5 million. Jackson St being an HBCU has nothing to do with itNah, I’m just a realist and not gonna tip toe around reality. You old white guys are pissed and afraid some of our recruits could get snatched up by an HBCU. You guys implying that it was only for money is 100% racist! Get over yourself, it’s only about education when the situation doesn’t work in our favor. Name me some kids 5 stars that picked us because of our education lol!
Ok well he didn’t pick Jackson state for the footballNah, I’m just a realist and not gonna tip toe around reality. Im still waiting on that 5 star that picked an HBCU without the $1.5 million. And that’s not racist, that’s reality.I’m still waitin on that 5 star picked us for academics.
Thats the problem with social media. EVERYBODY has a platform and everybody thinks they are important.I have zero doubt that among the hundreds of thousands of fsu fans that there are several that have made racist comments about this situation. The same same would be true of just about any large fanbase. That doesn’t mean you paint the whole fanbase with a broad brush. We pay too much attention to the fringe elements in society.
I see lots of people itt want to be spoon fed and not have to clicky-clicky somewhere else
How did he attack you? Who’s calling who ‘old white men’?Lmao, my education level and what I do for this nation probably outweighs yours but this isn’t a swinging contest and I don’t care about that honestly. I get it you don’t like my response so you attack. I’m still waiting for that 5 star that picked us because of the academics. I’m waiting, please enlighten me because I’ve been on this board 16 years and but I may have missed that one
Why is that tweet about race?
Please keep bring the heat on these delusion people that act like they understand or care about the plight of people who don't look like them. They're clueless when it comes to the conversations that you're talking about, they really believe that a black kid will have the same experience at Clemson as they would at an HBCU as far as inclusion and being comfortable. Most of these people arguing with you wouldn't even want to share the same spaces as black people don't let them fool you, especially outside of football. They don't care about these kids, and if they didn't play football they would be calling them thugs and other BS i've seen and read on this board. Sometimes it amazes me what the moderators allow on the board. When people have open discussion about stuff they don't agree with in the program the person attacks have to stop lol. The stuff I would read on the board the last 5 yrs regarding race and politics was pathetic but allowed. But if you call out racism they try to call you a racist lol keep the heat coming! The truth doesn't care who tells it!What I’m saying is to imply that him going to a hbcu for money is racist and extremely arrogant. The NFL coaching staff there at JSU or any of the other benefits of being at an hbcu had nothing to do with it. That is what I am saying. Clemson is great and I love it but it’s not like that for black folks it’s just not the same. So just Get over yourself! NIL is just leveling the playing field.
It’s totally natural for ppl to want to be with their own kind right? Hasn’t history taught us that? Hbcu schools are focused on cultivating ppl like him, black ppl, 5 generations of black families have gone through those campuses before they could step foot on a Clemson or FSU campus. So if one black kid decides to go the hbcu route I’d suggest you old white guys simmer down. his family may believe it a better fit than somewhere else that isn’t!

That tweet alone is not racial. It is historical. Now the responses and the other stuff, sure. With what is going on in the current environment of this country, are you telling me that you do not see a racial component in that Tweet? And I say that with all due respect to you. The world 'historical' should have raised an eyebrow?![]()
Whole lotta bullshít in this postPlease keep bring the heat on these delusion people that act like they understand or care about the plight of people who don't look like them. I do think there’s been sort of a movement pushing black athletes towards HBCUs. But your overall point about going from Clemson to Wofford is right. It’s just kind of ridiculous. This wouldn’t be any different than a 5 star flipping from Clemson to Wofford after getting 1.5 million. Jackson St being an HBCU has nothing to do with it
Your entire take is just laughable. Only person who needs to get over themselves is you
This is pretty historically ignorant. Those schools were started because black people weren’t allowed at other schools. They aren’t all black now, which is why they’re called HBCUs instead of BCUs.I’ve always pondered how blacks can have all black colleges but no other races are culturally allowed.
Why the double standard?
It’s pretty clear that it is.Why is that tweet about race?
Now when I first read it. But yes after reading the responsesIt’s pretty clear that it is.
It’s historically ignorant? You can just state the reason without being a dick. This is pretty historically ignorant. Those schools were started because black people weren’t allowed at other schools. They aren’t all black now, which is why they’re called HBCUs instead of BCUs.
At any rate, I think we ought to be working towards the point where we all recognize the absurdity of our racial system, rather than reinforcing it by telling people they can only truly belong around mostly other people whose skin looks like theirs. I’d like to see HBCUs get more resources and generally be able to improve what they can offer, but I’m not sure that HBCUs want to have too broad of an appeal. There’s a tension going on with the historical and current mission of HBCU’s and progress towards a post-racial society.
I agree with this. Something needs to be done to improve the HBCUs as they stand now. I would assume funding increases could help. This is pretty historically ignorant. Those schools were started because black people weren’t allowed at other schools. They aren’t all black now, which is why they’re called HBCUs instead of BCUs.

Don't let him get to you. Why can Black people say the N word but white people can't? It's not fair!!!It’s historically ignorant? You can just state the reason without being a dick.
You’re late to the party.Don't let him get to you. Why can Black people say the N word but white people can't? It's not fair!!!
Maybe you should’ve looked it up before trying to make a point about HBCUs.It’s historically ignorant? You can just state the reason without being a dick.
making a point?? I asked why it’s allowed.Maybe you should’ve looked it up before trying to make a point about HBCUs.
How dare him be white and challenge anything. I haven’t seen anyone really piling on the kid. However, to say they aren’t going to education is total disconnect. I appreciate your history lesson but it’s rather naive to think he would be at Jackson state with no nil. By the way Trenton Simpson seemed very very proud of his academic success this week. Everyone’s reasons are different your post is racist and narrow minded. Nobody is upset, you just don’t like being called out. What I’m saying is to imply that him going to a hbcu for money is racist and extremely arrogant. Look at this tool.Maybe you should’ve looked it up before trying to make a point about HBCUs.
If you really believe this either you are a complete idiot or you yourself are blinded by racism. I don't know the kid, but for you to imply it is unreasonable to think he went there for $$$ is insane. Unless every coach at all the hbcu colleges has been terrible except Dieon for the last 30 yrs, there are mountains of evidence against you. If what you stated were true, then top 5 recruits would have been going to hbcu's all along- which has simply not been the case. Good grief man, you are delusional. What I’m saying is to imply that him going to a hbcu for money is racist and extremely arrogant. It’s comical isn’t it. I knew the consensus before I commented but to be expected when there wasn’t a good response. The racist attack is weak and it is just deflection from the point. That made me laugh out loud. My point was there’s other plausible reasons that he may have chosen to go there. I’m still waiting for the blue chip who picked us because of academics lol! Please keep bring the heat on these delusion people that act like they understand or care about the plight of people who don't look like them. And I would argue that to imply that’s the only reason for him going is racist 🤣🤣Your first line is delusional 😂
There could be other reasons but those wouldn’t be strong enough to pull him there without the cash. Name another top player in the last 10yearsAnd I would argue that to imply that’s the only reason for him going is racist 🤣🤣
Do think there could potentially could be any other plausible reasons from your perspective?

He most assuredly is.Isn’t he chasing dollars?
