After the UT game when Lattimore went down at the Lattimore rally, he runs his mouth about Clemson.... He gets the media in an uproar, and as usually takes the pressure off of his team losing their star. The season kept getting better after that.
The most recent , right before the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for Juniors. Obviously other coaches were able to convince recruits he wouldn't last. Best way to make people believe you, make a huge national deal about it. Almost every recruit that USC is going after stated that USC has risen on their list.
