Probably because the modern MAGA “Christian” openly despises the actual teachings of Christ and lives a life of hate and intolerance. Jesus said send me your weak and wicked. MAGA says get your ass out. Jesus said love the poor. MAGA says the poor are lazy moochers. Jesus said love thy neighbor. MAGA says democrats are terrorists and that liberalism is a mental disorder.
Meh. More to do with the adherence to beliefs that are blatantly false and insistence that those beliefs should be pervasive throughout our laws, education system, etc.

How many (former)homeless people currently live with you in your household? How about the wicked? How many rape/murder/etc parolees have you offered jobs and a home to?
I don’t do any of those things. But I do provide care to inmates and the homeless. I do my part within my scope of ability. I also don’t claim to be better than everyone else like Christians do
It's an OBSESSION with IT. Obviously, atheist or agnostic. Abused as a child by someone of "faith". No one of true faith would do that to a child.
