All of that makes it pathetic, but having an affair with somebody’s wife when you know she’s married and you know the guy is on you, too. That’s where alienation of affection comes from.

SS is always at the Big Shots AAU tournaments in Charlotte. Met him numerous times. It is crazy how short he is in person.

Another ex punched me in the face 3 times and tried to throw my phone out the highway otw to Atlanta because the girl I was supposedly cheating on her with called me and it popped up on the car. You know what I did I pulled into the next gas station and called her best friend to come pick her up and sat at the gas station til I knew she was safely picked up. Then I stopped speaking to her.

At the time I had a number of local "celebrities" as clients and many of the panther players. We always treated then with white gloves because of their potential to reach lots of folks.
As a result I sent my best and most professional guys to their homes. We were trimming and devicing his home after closing. Installing Tv's, balancing surround sound, etc. I had a guy who had worked for me for years in his home. Dude was late 50s early 60s. Very mild mannered and meek guy. An immigrant who had boot strapped his way through and literally never had a single complaint about. Apparently my guy "disrespected" Steve's wife by not speaking to her when she entered the room he was working in. He was crawled up inside an in wall TV cabinet (back when tvs werent flat) fixing some wiring.
Mr. Smith destroyed about $8,000 worth of AV equipment and tore up a custom entertainment center with some metal rod (maybe a golf club...dont know) threatening to kill my guy if he came out cabinet.
I and a few of my guys went there after the guy his in the cabinet called us on the Nextel and Steve was instantly as nice as could be to me acted like nothing was wrong but reiterated my guy had "dissed" his wife by not speaking to her.
Then Panther WR Muss Mohamed, who was another customer and had referred Steve to me, ended up paying us (almost a year later) for the equipment Steve destroyed when Steve thought I should replace it for free since "my guy set him off"
To be totally fair Smith was probably 23 or 24 at the time and I'm sure he has matured some now. But that will be my lasting impression I take to the grave of him.
