Strength of Record is the one metric that most closely corresponds to the CFP committee final rankings at the end. In fact, it directly correlates to the top 4 each season so far so I pay attention to it late in the season. Committee members have commented that they do look at this metric before voting among lots of others. It is early to assess, but just thought I would look at this as a current snapshot for where teams are, including Clemson, after about a third of the season is over. Strength of record is how your W-L record stacks up against your strength of schedule as a too simple explanation.
