NFL has the right to cause forfeits and not have schedules in constant flux too, though I'd rather they make players sign a waiver and just let them play regularly. All players vaxxed or sign the waiver. If the NFL isn't held accountable for players getting Covid I dont see an issue. Its their choice. Otherwise this will go on forever, covid is not going to disappear like Polio.

COVID-19 will always have a place in society, unfortunately freedom will not. I have been vaccinated. I freely chose to get the shots. People in this nation are just a free to say no, to refuse to wear a mask, and to go wherever they choose to go. I have been blessed with freedom forever. I feel sorry for those who never experience for a single day. Deandre is not owned by the the slave masters of the NFL.
He got in trouble for speeding through traffic in his ferrari for a Trump rally or something in Houston, almost wrecked a bus of kids but I could be remembering wrong.

I support Hopkins! I am vaccinated and I wish everyone around me was, but I would never take the choice away from the individual. Forcing or mandating the vaccine at a time where it’s showing major cracks and leaking oil both with side effects and preventing getting Covid is a JOKE.
And don’t say “well it was never meant to prevent you from getting covid, it was only meant to prevent you from being on a ventilator or dying.” Because that’s not what you were saying like a month ago or what you said or were told when you got your vaccine. And oh yeah 40 pct of new hospitalizations in the UK are from people that have had 2 shots. So if you want to get it because you think it works, get it and you should be fine because you think it works. If someone thinks the risks of the vaccine are greater than the risks of getting covid like Hopkins who would probably eat covid for lunch in like 3 days, then don’t get it.
Let the players know they intend to play the games Regardless of Covid findings. By now everyone has had plenty of time to be educated on pros and cons and make a personal decision. I can see why people would choose either option. You can get Covid whether you are vaxxed or not. Yes, the percentages may change with or without a vaccine but Nothing is 100% guaranteed. Seems like we keep trying for a 100% solution when it is not necessary to safely move forward.
It's 99.5% guaranteed so far that if you get the shot you won't die from covid if you still catch it. Whether or not someone gets a breakthrough case is virtually immaterial. Fwiw.

Yes. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. Employers mandating the vaccine isn't forcing anyone to get it.

While they may not use the word force when they threaten your game checks and will fine a team I think that is using money as a forceful way to get what they deem as right.
I really cannot understand why people that are vaccinated (protected from the everything and anything Covid related) are hell bent on everyone else being vaccinated as well. I mean you protected yourself for your safety. So why would it matter to you if anyone else took the same personal protections?
It's the same percentage(maybe slightly better) that if you don't get the vaccine, you still have the same chance of not dying.
Anybody calling Trump stupid needs to wake up and look at what we have running the country right now. Our Prez is about 3/4 senile and the Vice is totally incompetent. The country is only 59% vaccinated so there must be a bunch of Trumpyards out there. Me I took the vaccine but didn’t feel good about it.

It's their league, they can run it how they see fit. It's Hopkins' body, he can treat it how he sees fit.
Let me know when the NFL starts holding players down and injecting them with the vaccine against their will. That will be forcing.
What you described is assault. Threatening a person's livelihood is being pretty forceful. I also wonder where this falls in the CBA?
