This time of year I plan a lot of quiet time where I sit back, think about the past and ponder the future.
I am so thankful for the blessings that God has given me. I am thankful for my wife! She is the sweetest most caring person in the world. There is no way I could have found her without Gods help. I have a beautiful family with healthy (grown) children. I also have the best 4 year old grandson that calls me Big Poppi.
Yep, I moan, grown and b_tch about things from time to time. Small things that in the big picture of life mean nothing. I’m grateful for all the games that my family and I have been able to attend in person in Clemson. Not just football games but basketball, baseball and volleyball as well.
During all of those trips to Clemson I have been able to teach my kids life lessons. How to have good sportsmanship, win gracefully, how to get up when you have been knocked down, Time management, dealing with stressful situations. How to handle road rage in dead traffic. Things like the environment and how to pick up your trash. How to share (food and tailgating) for every action you have in life there is a circumstance (penalties). How to develop life long friends. How to respect our military and love our farmers. Etc etc etc.
I am the most blessed man.
I am thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I hope you have time to reflect this year. What are you thankful for? Looking forward to your post.
