My son and I went to the game last night and it was hard to walk through the Louisville tailgate lots. We were stopped constantly by people who wanted to thank us for coming, wanted us to join them at their tailgate, give us beer and/or food, wanted some $2 bills, etc. Meet one Louisville fan who told us he had reserved a box at Churchill Downs for Friday for Clemson people. He was giving away the tickets. Said he was treated so nicely by Clemson folks last year he wanted to return the favor.
We were in a box and the people there told us they had never meet more gracious people as they did at Clemson. Even after the game people were extremely nice. You can't count the number of people who said "after talking to friends who went last year I'm going to Clemson next year".
These folks are SOOO glad to be in the ACC. We told them we feel like we have traded the Twerps for them and its a HUGE upgrade.
