So we wonder why we don't get more respect at the big boy table of college football? Just point your finger toward the Coastal Division to understand why it is going to be another disaster, unless Miami can get to the top and stay there.

The current leader, Duke, loses last week to NW, which is a weak B1G team, and they lose in front of a crowd of, what, 15k? Same thing for this week against GT. They only have to put 33k in that place to pack it out. Cutcliff giving them the best ball of the last 20 years and that's how they support it?

VT loses to ECU, again, and the stat that the tv broadcast keeps repeating is the 5 straight wins over the ACC. By the way, does VT ever play a game in good weather? I think I have seen Beamer in more rain jackets than polo shirts. Gosh almighty we need VT to be good and this is what we get.

So here we are after 4 weeks of the CFB season and the ACC will only have FSU and Clemson in the top 25.
Now my hope lies with Miami to do something. Of course, they only play in front of 500 people so that makes great television.

I know this is a rambling mess of a post, but it seems that the ACC will never be more than 5th of the Power 5. There just is not the support from the member schools to make it happen.
