I know, I know…there wasn’t a lot to be happy about yesterday & I’m as disappointed as anyone, I can assure you…
But if there was a bright side yesterday, I think it’s that both our OL & DL played pretty well…
Offensively, I know Mafah didn’t have a ton of yards but seemed to give him a crease quite often & I thought the pass protection overall was really good…Cade seemed to have plenty of time to throw the ball yet for whatever the reason, never seemed to pull the trigger…
Defensively, it was tough sledding inside for the Dawgs…basically everything they did was on the perimeter & Beck didn’t really have much time to stand in the pocket either…having to deliver many quick hitters to his receivers…now the back end of our defense, I don’t know where they were in the 2nd half…
Anyway, hopefully we can flush it, get better, & go win this week…I know things look pretty bleak right now but it’s a long season & hopefully we can right the ship.
