If you watched Championship Drive on SECESPNU, the last 5 minutes are focused on the Notre Dame - Clemson game this weekend. Much of the conversation was that each team needed to make a statement etc. Specific to Clemson were calls for our offense to show up, Watson to play like Superman, and of course one of the commentators said that the genius behind the Clemson offense was now residing in Dallas.

All of that is good fun from talking heads, but there was a lot of chatter on our board during and after the Thursday night win at Louisville. From my perspective the offense has been ok to good; certainly not bad, and nowhere in the neighborhood of taking steps backward like Auburn. However the offense does seem to be in search of some rhythm. Certainly the loss of Williams is a big one for Watson; but weapons at the receiver position abound. Wayne Gallman has become a top tier RB in the offseason and now looks ready to take names. The play calling has been - dare I say - conservative over the first 3 games. Perhaps the calls were designed to help young offensive linemen, perhaps because there is new leadership in the role, or perhaps simply because the productivity has been enough to bring home the W's. .

So here are the questions I will bring to the board:
1) What does the offense need to do to beat this Notre Dame defense?
2) What needs to happen offensively for the remainder of the season?
