Ok so nearly everyone in the Country agrees that Deshaun Watson has a skill set that is incredibly heisman worthy and program changing. He has an absolute "IT" factor that makes the tangibles that much more incredible.
This recruiting class was going to be smaller and filled with high end players. So far so good for the most part. We have a budding offense stacked with elite talent. We just came off a year being the #1 rate defense. We have stacked years of double digit wins and huge victories while also competing at the highest levels in the class room. We have arguably the most momentum in the country with facility upgrades and social media exposure. We have stacked NFL rosters of players showing out on Sundays. We really are buzzing in the college football world.
You would think this would be the perfect storm for assembling monster classes. I feel like these recruits should/would gravitate towards wanting to play with Watson. The guy is about to ignite the college football landscape. We really just need to solidify and restock the defense and OL and we are a roster that goes heads up with any top ten team in the country with the best player on the field leading the way. We already have most of the roster filled out.
Is the Deshaun Watson factor being used enough in communicating the play off runs we are in position to make? I'm sure it is but we have to be pushing all the chips in right now on the Watson boat.
We get that elite talent to replace who we have lost and will lose and its game on.
Kelly
Pinckney
Overton
CB (1-2): SS, idk
S (1-2): idk
DT (2-3): Lawerance, Gary
LB (2): Lamar
OL (3-4): Simpson, idk
DE (2): Clayton
Of course this is recruiting and anything goes and doesn't always make sense but always makes dollars.
