- The border is a complete disaster. The Mexican President and other Latin American leaders have directly attributed the situation to Biden's policies. Anyone rational person knows this. This is driving a huge surge child trafficking, drugs, etc. Not to mention it will continue to suppress wages.
- Push to eliminate the filibuster. It is the only damn thing that forces compromise and gets the two sides talking.
- Push to pack the Supreme Court.
- Push to add Washington, DC as a state.
- $2 Trillion "infrastructure bill" that only has $200 million for infrastructure.
- Fanning flames of racial division by making absolutely everything about race and tribalism. Including pushing Critical Race Theory in the federal government.
- Pushing vaccines with fake science. Pushing face masks with no science. Studies are coming out almost daily about the inefficacy of face masks and social distancing.
- Politicizing the military
Besides the fact that some of this is exaggerated hyperbole or flat out false, do you really think we're dumb enough to believe you wouldn't come up with a list of Biden horrors NO MATTER what he did? Did you really believe he was going to have a conservative Christian terrorist platform? Before covid hit it was headed that way. Real wages were increasing, minority wages were increasing in relation to the rest of the population, income gap between rich/poor was declining, billions of $$ were appropriated to historically black collages and urban/minority populated communities. Trump was not talking about doing the things democrats have been promising and complaining about for decades, he was doing it - it was happening.
If this had been happening under obama, or any democrat, it would have been plastered across the news daily and been lauded as the greatest accomplishment in decades and presented as proof democrat's hard work for the last 20 yrs was finally paying off. However it was ignored by what used to be news organizations and Trump was cast as an old racist white man despite the fact he was doing more for minorities than anyone in decades. You and others can deny it, but numbers don't lie. You can ignore, deny it, whatever- that does not mean it did not happen. You and the democrat party want to give lip service to issues. You stand in front of microphones and talk nice, say the "right" things, use the right code words and pretend to care so much. When it comes to actions and policies, all that happens is more of the same that keeps poor people poor and dependent on the govt. People are incentivized to take just enough govt assistance to barley subsist rather than try to provide for themselves a better life than bare existence. Right now is a perfect example of that. Employers of all kinds, particularly of low/unskilled labor can not fill jobs -yet dems are still trying to extend/increase unemployment benefits. the only people not working right now are people that don't want to work or are unable. It is beyond ridiculous at this point to for anyone who is low/unskilled to be getting unemployment. However, that is the whole point. Dependency on the govt is the mainstay of the democrat party and increasing/maintaining that is, was and will be the primary objective.
That is exactly 100% correct. Yes, it is also sad. Would not have mattered who the President was when covid hit - the economy was going to be negatively impacted. Tahnks largely to red states that finally said enough is enough and opened things back up, the economy is growing again- it has no where to go but up from here. Again, this was going to happen when things started to open up no matter who was president. I fully expect the wage and wealth gaps for minorities to widen as they did under obama from here. This sounds amazing but let's not pretend like that economy was free when it added 2T to the deficit and his budget called for cutting a trillion from entitlements to make up for it. I won't even get into the costs to the environment that his destruction of regulations caused. But other than that it was great! But none of that matters if you can't manage a crisis!

Biden is knocking it out of the park and his agenda has mass approval. Did you take a look at first quarter GDP? Typical that you think it can all be whitewashed by pointing out the border but not pointing out that he is addressing it. Look, every president can point to successes and failures but Trump's negatives were so historically putrid that they make any accomplishments insignificant. First quarter GDP would really have more to do with the previous administration than the current if you had any idea about how the economy works. BUT, like I said in the previous post, no matter who the potus is GDP should explode after you open up the economy from a once in a hundred year pandemic and the resulting economic shutdown.
Also, while every potus can likely point to successes, NO recent ones can point to real measurable gains for the poor and minorities Trump produced. Could Trump have handled covid better? Sure he could. Everyone could go back and do better with hindsight. Would Biden have been better? NO! He was complaining about stopping travel from the country the virus was coming from.
