May usher in blockchain identity. Not exactly sure how it will work. Especially for kids who don't have an online presence. However, that could sift down to blockchain voting which has already been beta tested in several counties.

It’s at least 50 years away from the federal govt even considering something like this. We don’t have a single mass market use case that blockchain is solving for today and we sure as hell won’t start with the federal govts ID system.

I’m bullish long term on blockchain but we people make suggestions like this it just tells you how far outside their lane they are.
