The state of NC is ready to cheat

the key to a successful democracy is to limit people’s ability to vote.

Look man, we disagree on issues and that is perfectly fine. I can appreciate it if people can disagree and get along. The fact of the matter is allowing votes to come in nine days after election day is so absurd. There’s no reason to send your ballot in now. Literally every American knows and has known who they are voting for.

If Biden straight up wins he should be potus. If Trump straight up wins he should remain potus. All I want is a fair election regardless of who wins or loses and we all should be able to except that result as a nation.

Ballots are allowed up to nine days after the election? Lol wow

I know I know, move it to the roundtable. That’s great and all but so close to the election we should be able to talk about shit like this.
Pubs are fighting back this time. They’ve hired hundreds of Pub lawyers to watch over voting precincts in battleground states. Smart move. Trump wins but it won’t be as wide as it could be. Depends on how much voter fraud they get away with. They should send dozens of lawyers to Dade county Fla. - they never, ever get there vote in on time and always come up with thousands of extra Dem votes after the fact. The county election commissioner there has been convicted of fraud but the county keeps her in there anyway. Ends juistifies the means for these Marxist crooks.

We agree. I see no need to except after Election Day. Anyone who wants to vote need to be responsible for getting them in on time.

Nine days is too long in my opinion. Everyone knows when the election is and I think all mail in ballots should be postmarked by no later than one week in advance in the future so that we can have results on election day or the day after. I have already voted in person last week so I am done!

I'd say they have to be postmarked by Election day (maybe a day after to allow for delays in getting them processed through the PO) and actually into the hands of the vote counters within 3 days. That's not too damn hard to do.

I voted early Tuesday personally. I'm not worried about catching the coof at a polling station but wanted to get it done.

What is lost in this discussion is that ballots have to be postmarked by Election Day to count. If it takes our USPS (under Trump's lackey) 9 days to process the mail, is that the fault of the voter? No. Trump took sorting machines away and cut labor force. Voters who vote by Election Day are doing the honorable thing.

Election aside it makes sense to downsize the post office. Honestly, how many people mail stuff anymore? We either email it or do it online.

The post office is rapidly becoming a dinosaur, unfortunately. We need the entity but not nearly as much as we used to.

BTW - I learned that you can vote early and then change your vote later in some states. It's kind of a pain but apparently you can do it.

Giving a 9 day grace period or any grace period for that matter, isn't going to help with calling a clear cut winner the day after. For all of the chat around the potential for widespread carnage due to contention of the named winner, why would any state allow this?

I just saw PA is allowing 3 days also. Seems pretty stupid

i have seen voter fraud stories 2-5 at least in each state in the union besides alaska and hawaii

have no idea there but voter fraud is rampant

but im sure that the amount of election day voters for trump will be far superior to any fraud the NC democrats can muster

i had a democrat text me the other day

i think he wished he hadnt

he said he thought bidens economic plan was superior to trumps.

then i ask him specifically what?

nothing

he has never read his ideas

and he had the gaul to text me to tell me i needed to vote for the criminal family.

his name is joshua

anyone know him

I'm not suggesting it's a way to cheat, I'm just saying it potentially delays the process of declaring a winner. Whoever wins the election, I just want it to be clean so we can get on with it.

the dems that actually can read polling data know its not good

not good at all

there gameplan is to delay the election by extending it past nov 3rd.

they are going to try to mask the results and claim Trump is a tyrant if he questions the media who confirms the results

like the FEC commissioner says-

you have had plenty of time to vote multiple ways

no reason a state should not be able to do their job

Agree 100%. This is the definition of a non-standard election year and so an exception or two needs to be made. That's undeniable.

Yup. I can accept any result as long as it is clean and fair.

hearing the DEMS are starting to understand Biden isnt winning by double digits

so they are going to blame MAIL IN balloting if TRUMP wins.

long ago presidential elections may have taken 2 or 3 weeks. it wasnt a 1 day event with the winner by midnite

technology made that possible

once the election is over

no matter who wins or loses

Trump should put together a special commission to investigate election corruption.

start with districts where 70 plus% picked a certain candidate. whether trump or biden and investigate.

there are certain polling areas where like 90% vote for 1 candidate.

anytime 70 plus % vote a certain way, flags should be raised.

got 4 years to clean it up.

what i find insulting is that Trump won in 2016

we are 2020 and the democrats spent 4 years

"NOT ACCEPTING" the results of the election.

now they are like you guys better accept it if Biden wins

thats insulting
