He had a chance a few years ago to go that route and just made the wrong decision. Just like he made the wrong decision with several of his coaching hires. OK. It happens. He fixed those (most of them lol), and he can fix his portal approach.
It doesn't DETRACT from the locker room. Hell, if anything, it MOTIVATES the locker room by adding hope and accountability. By adding fresh, mature talent who can help the team win. Those on the current roster who balk at that need to go. They're soft and coddled. So what if Dabo has to guarantee a starting spot to a proven talent coming in? Deal with the fallout like every other team and get better.
