Manaford found guilty on 8 counts (10 mistrial counts, but that means the prosecution gets another shot). AND he's still got another whole trial in DC to have. That's going to put a ton of pressure on him to cooperate with Mueller or spend the rest of his life in the slammer (he's 69).

Trump's Lawyer pleads guilty (including campaign violations where he named President Trump and himself as providing hush money to Stormy Danials to influence the elections.

And every bit as important, General Flynn's was supposed to get sentenced today for lying to the FBI and not declaring himself an agent of a foreign government when he took money from a foreign government. His lawyers AND the prosecution co filed a motion to delay that. Asking for a delay is pretty normal, but when both sides file, that could be an indication that Flynn is going to cooperate as well.

He can't pardon state charges, so that is why all of the charges haven't come to Manafort yet and one of the reasons it is going in stages.

Also Cohen (and I believe Manafort) won't be sentenced until after the November election.

Unindicted co-conspirator folks...at the very least you can't say the president isn't a liar, a serial philanderer, and someone who deals regularly with felons.

Also...VICTIM OF THE DEEP STATE.

Also...Cohen is an agent for Hillary Clinton (and the deep state) who acted as an informant to manipulate the president to get him on tape and make him break campaign finance law. Total set-up...it was Hillary...NAILED IT...

Well, that's not as simple a solution as it may seem. When a person receives a pardon, they admit guilt for the crime (they get out of the punishment). The side effect of this is that they can no longer refuse to answer questions. You see it all the time. Lawyer asks a person a question and that person pleads the 5th ... ie asserting their right not to incriminate themselves. If you get a presidential pardon, you no longer have this right.

You can bet that Mueller would have Manaford and Cohen in front of a grand jury at the snap of a finger and asking a BUNCH of direct questions about Trump. Any lie, they go to jail for perjury. Any refusal to answer, they go to jail for contempt of court (both put you in jail immediately ... while waiting trial w/o bail).
