They are incredible journalists. So, it only stands to reason that people inside the program (ie- coaches, players, other staff) LEGITIMATELY thought we would win the game. Think about that one for a second
Our very expensive coaching staff felt so good about what they saw that they were quietly telling people we were going to win the game
That is an indictment on the competency of the folks in the building. Everyone.
We finished with less than 150 yards offense- and largely looked completely lost and inept- but, yet, the main people inside the Reeves Complex were predicting a win
What an absolute disconnect from reality
EDIT- my overarching point is it’s not their fault, at all. They were going off of what they heard from guys in side the building. The fact guys in the building had seen something that led them to feed LW and PS the info is what it is bad
