Have the members of TI not realized something through all their years on this planet? Its not like there are a ton of teenagers on this board. The weathermen have to make their paycheck!!!! Nobody besides octogenarians watch the news anymore, the internet has taken over news in a big way. The only time they see ratings spikes is during disastrous events (weather, war, terrorism). Therefore anytime there is any potential weather they make their models and which ever one provides the most foreboding outcome is the one they report. Why do you think there are 4-5 times every winter we hear that we hear on Wednesday that we are getting a half a foot of snow on Saturday then we get a few flakes that don't stick?
