This is not Communism by Castro

Che Guevara. The revolutionary "hero". Proudly worn on T shirts of woke liberal basement dwellers and other dumbasses everywhere (in the US that is).

Ruthless, brutal Torturer, Killer, Homophob, Racist, Sub-par military leader. Spreader of violence, oppression, misery and death. By all accounts an adulterer who wasn't that great of a husband and dad, but that's not that big of a deal all things considering.

Ernesto made the short-timer list in March of 1967 when the president of Bolivia appealed to the the US for assistance with the growing communist insurgency which he (Che) was trying to promote.

Just weeks later Major Ralph "Pappy" Shelton and his 16 man Mobile Training Team of Green Berets from the 8th Special Forces Group (Based in Ft. Gulick, Panama) (BL 404-67X) deployed to Bolivia and organized several hundred newly recruited Bolivian soldiers in infantry tactics, marksmanship, and planning and conducting counterinsurgency operations between May and September 1967.

So well trained by MAJ Shelton and his team, it took only two weeks after beginning combat operations for the newly trained Bolivian 2nd Ranger Battalion to surround and capture Ernesto and his band of guerrillas. On October 8th 1967, Ernesto, the hungry, tired, dirty, dedicated, hero to the cause that he was, surrendered instead of fighting to the death hoping to be spared the misery and death that he had inflicted on so many during his short life.

Good thinking, but alas, not to be. Ernesto "Che" Guevara was tied up like the filthy dog that he was, and then given a dirt nap a short time later by the Bolivians. Lol.

Great job by the Bolivian Rangers and the Green Berets of the 8th Special Forces Group.

Man you guys are dense. Maybe figure out what they’re fighting for in Cuba? You say they want to be rid of communism, but a lot of what they want sounds so familiar. Healthcare and living wages. Now I know I heard that somewhere before….

Are you seriously comparing wages and healthcare in Cuba to the US?

Are you really that stupid? Yes, I’m afraid you are. So you don’t think they’re protesting to get rid of Communism? All of the Cuban Americans living in the US and/or have family that have escaped from Cuba would 100% disagree with your asinine post. And you don’t think that the very reason they have low wages and inadequate health care has to do with the failing system of Communism? It seems like the same thing is happening in Venezuela now. They’re literally starving there.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Obama on his much publicized trip to Cuba when he was still President.

You are literally insane if you truly believe what you typed.

The Soviets had been almost completely successful in keeping secret that West Berlin was to be sealed. On Saturday, August 12, 1961, 1,573 East Germans crossed the line separating East and West Berlin and registered as refugees desiring to live in the West. They were the last group to be allowed to freely depart. The Soviets stretched barbed wire across the Brandenburg Gate facing the Western zones in the center of the city. And at 2:30 on the morning of August 13, the border between East and West Berlin was closed.

“Successes” and “Failures” of the Wall

Two days later, on August 15, work began on the Berlin Wall; it was made of brick and concrete and took two years to complete. When finished, it was 28 miles long and nine feet high, with barbed wire at the top. East German guards armed with machine guns fired upon any who attempted to cross it. There was also a 200-yard area leading up to the Wall covered with land mines and patrolled by police dogs.

Yet, in spite of this, during the 28 years of the Wall’s existence, between 1961 and 1989, an estimated 5,000 people managed to escape either over, under, or through the Wall. Some escaped through the sewer system under the Wall. Others dug tunnels — the longest one was 500 feet long, through which 57 people made their getaway to West Berlin in 1964.

The Berlin Wall came to symbolize the Cold War and its division of the world into halves, one half still relatively free and the other half under the most brutal and comprehensive tyranny ever experienced by man in modern history. Nothing was supposed to cross the Iron Curtain of barb wire fences, landmined farm fields, and machine-gun watchtowers that cut across central Europe from the Baltic to the Adriatic Sea, without the permission of the Marxist masters in Moscow.

The Wall vs. the Right to Move

What the Berlin Wall epitomized was the 20th-century idea of the individual as the property of the state. Behind that Wall the East German government told the people where to live and work, what goods they could consume, and what enjoyments and entertainments they would be permitted. The state determined what they read and watched and said. And they could not leave the country — either for a visit or forever — unless it served the goals and interests of their political masters. And if anyone attempted to leave without permission, he could be shot and left to die, alone and helpless, with others forced to stand by as horrified observers.

You are literally a dunce if you think I'm going to read your propaganda.

Oh you read it, but that’s not propaganda you brainwashed leftist, that’s simply history.
I don't take you seriously enough to read your drivel. I've also learned that if you try to engage people, it means you found an infantile meme that you're dying to use, so it's best to ignore you.

Lol.. I quit taking you serious when you said in another thread that ‘one could make the argument that China cares more about the US than Republicans do’. But you would do yourself a favor to use more memes, because when you use your own words you do literally come off as either brainwashed, totally ignorant, or insane. I think in your case it’s all of the above. But I doubt you have a job, so this is your entertainment.. so you do you bud.

Well tell me more about this ...

Pro open borders letting a record number of illegal immigrants into this country this year.

Pro demonizing, dehumanizing, demoralizing, and defunding the police. Record crime spikes in major cities now.

Pro censorship to quiet people with opposing political views.

Pro (Marxist) critical race theory.. which is just further polarizing the country racially.

Pro teaching 5 year olds that it’s ok for a little boy if he wants to identify as a little girl (when all 5 year olds want to do is play on swing sets at recess)

Pro Antifa and BLM.. who did 2 billion dollars worth of property damage in this country and innocent ppl attacked and killed.

Pro making it easier for voter fraud (not showing an ID to vote), and opposition to that is called racial voter suppression.

I’m sure there’s many I missed... but these are just off the top of my head. No, the Republican Party isn’t perfect by any means, but based on your list and my list, I’ll stay a Conservative, thank you very much.

Healthcare and living wages? LMAO! That's not what they are protesting for. It's the fact they have a shitty socialist economy that can't supply basic needs for its citizens.

Are you freaking kidding me? So I guess we're getting to the root of your beliefs - that the government must provide healthcare and living wages.

We have healthcare here. World-class healthcare. And if you can't afford it, Medicaid covers the poor, medicare covers the old, CHIP covers poor kids.

We also have housing subsidies, food subsidies (SNAP) and other programs that create a safety net for those at the bottom.

We also have a robust economy with unlimited job opportunities and ways to create personal income.

This is an achievement-based society. Want something more? EARN IT.

Scary mindset man. I really didn't peg you as a "we need the state to control income and healthcare" kind of guy. This is America after all, where we practice capitalism, which built the greatest country and economy and innovation the world has ever seen.

The list of things I posted are either totally
supported by your party, or they’re entirely
carried out by Dem voters. One of the two, but none of its by Republicans or their voters.

Calm down Scotch

I don't have much time so I'll make this short. My response was solely in response to Republican attempts to scuttle Obamacare with nothing to replace it and their opposition to raising the minimum wage. $15 an hour is probably too much but it's been long overdue for an increase.

You do have me pegged all wrong - not a Socialist or Communist and not even far left. I said what I meant but you painted a whole different portrait than what I intended.

Hope you didn't pop a blood vessel 😂

Increasing the minimum wage causes more unemployment but you don't even consider economics in whatever you are thinking. You spent your entire collegiate life studying junk philosophy that you couldn't possibly understand what a downward slopping demand curve is. Much less what it means in terms of quantity demand. You don't understand what a price floor is. These fundamentals were understood centuries ago by individuals hired by kings to improve their economies and increase the standard of living.

Ok. You basically said that republicans were fighting against people getting living wages and healthcare. That's not true. Healthcare is provided for the poor and old and other safety nets exist for low earners. Republicans simply don't want the federal government to expand even further into our free market, capitalistic society.

And of course $15/hr is an absurd minimum wage. The pimple-faced 15 year old tearing movie tickets or sweeping popcorn doesn't need $15/hr. And if you are a functioning adult and can only earn minimum wage, the problem is you, not the government.

But then again, that's probably just my white privilege talking.

I don't disagree with what you said but you just went way out into left field because I made a quick point that was true. Republicans did fight the ACA tooth and nail for years and for no good reason except to prevent a political win for the opposite party. I am admittedly hostile about this issue in particular because I know people who benefitted greatly from the law that couldn't get insurance otherwise. So what I said was true, though I understand I didn't flesh out the talking point to your liking. But also keep in mind this is a message board where we talk a lot of smack and try to zing the other side, and for that I am guilty. Doesn't make me a Communist so slow your roll ;)

I know this wasn't for me but FYI. I had my commie tracker adjusted since DW4_2016 because he kept pegging it. not sure I called you one yet but I apologize in advance.

The ACA is the reason we lost our old insurance. I basically pay $13 grand per year because me and my wife max out every year and we can only afford the High Deductible Plan that cheep as Duke-Energy sells.
