Think ahead for a few minutes. If Clemson goes7-5 , 8-4 or 9-3 this year because of o-line youth and/ or thin LB corps and / or kicking game and/or injury to DW ,what will we this board be saying???? My guess is that it would acknowledge that there were too many issues to cover up? Or that DW is snake bit??? Or more probably we would say that 2016 is the year that it comes together for a true title run. At the end of this year, we could lose Peake, Shaq, Mack, BJ, McClain, Kearse, Williams and Reader ( maybe Leggett or Watkins, others) either to graduation or the pros. Returning however, we will have two nasty lines with the freshman having a year of experience, deep talented RBs, an excess of WRs, better LB depth, DW and a couple of talented backup QBs an experienced secondary and experienced kicking team. Dang that sounds good right now!
I am hoping for a great year this year but there are some glaring issues that Clemson must cover up and game plan around or just get lucky regarding injuries. In any event, Dabo has the talent on the roster it may just take a year or so for it all to come together. Oh yeah, and this is our offensive coordinators first year running the show!
