Saw some really poor defensive discipline and fundamentals. Offense wasn’t perfect, but moved it. Drops were a huge issue.
Over and over I saw defensive guys lose contain. You have an a athletic QB who is an average thrower (at best) break contain. There was some selfish play by our backers dipping inside.
Offensively, we didn’t run the ball like we needed to. Mafah being banged up played a role…but we did a solid job in pass pro. Had several chances to get it done and didn’t.
I felt like the play of the game was the needless cute trick play we ran in the third. Literally no good reason to do that when you are moving the ball. Absolutely stupid decision. Literally no good reason to do that.
We still have a chance to fix it. Dabo needs to fire his inbred hires. Those guys couldn’t get coordinator jobs at decent SC high schools. That was an unforced error.
What do we do as a fan base? New age. Spend.
