We are halfway through THIS season. How would you rate our roster below:
Played over there ranking, played up to their ranking, played below their ranking
**Playing below their ranking means they also could be injured, redshirting, etc. - not helping the team much at all this year**
Looking at how each position group has performed this year. We have a LOT of young guys on this roster that are continuing to get better. Dabo making the switch at DE and OL was what we needed. Recruiting had really fallen off at DE as we are seeing with depth this year. That is a position where Rumph needs some funds to go get a guy. Losing Davis to Duke really hurts. I think Luke will get us the OL we need. He is so dynamic and getting so much more out of the guys we got, so that makes me feel a lot better. LB could really hurt us down the road. I like Brown and the Anderson kid we got in this class, but don't see too much for the future. We really need a QB in this class as well (not a portal guy). We need the funds to go get us one. I am concerned about a Bonafide starter at RB next season, but do feel we can win with Haynes, EZ and Gideon. Would love a Bonafide starter to come in for one year to be the guy to allow for EZ and Gideon to get their feet wet. Not sure if Capehart, Page, or Williams have another year of eligibility, but we are going to need to move Woods back to DT if we don't have at least 1 of these guys back. We really seem to have a lot of highly rated DB's that are young that we are going to really need to step up over these next few seasons.

Vizzina (4) - Still playing below his ranking, but seeing improvement
Pearman (3) - Playing at his ranking but not many chances
Tyson (4) - Playing below his ranking (He is just a depth guy from the portal)

A. Williams(4) - Played over his ranking
Wesco(4) - Played over his ranking this early in career, but injured last two games
Moore (4) - Played over his ranking this early in career
Turner (3) - Played over their ranking so far
M. Kelley (3) - Played up to his ranking so far
Stellato (4) - Played up to his ranking so far
Randall(4) - Played below his ranking, but seeing some improvement lately
Johnson (4) - Played below his ranking
T. Brown(3) - Played below his ranking this year (Injuries)
Hannafin(4) - Moved to DB and special teams

Mafah (4) - Played above his ranking this year
Haynes (3) - Played up to his ranking so far this year
Adams Jr.(3) - Played up to his ranking so far this year

Sapp (3) - Playing at his ranking, he is a solid depth guy, but I feel like he was better last year
Dixon (3) -Playing below his ranking. Haven't really seen him on the field much at all
Bentancur (4) -Playing below his ranking. Haven't seen or heard about him and he is supposed to be awesome

Blake Miller (4) - Playing above his ranking. Future NFL star.
Parks (4) - Playing at his ranking, but having an awesome year considering his injuries
Tate (4) - Playing at his ranking and having a solid year
Linthicum (4) - Playing above his ranking so far this year. Can't believe his turnaround.
Leigh (5) - Playing at his ranking this year and having a solid year. Should be an NFL guy as well.
Thurmon (4) - Playing above his ranking for a freshman. Will be a stud on this OL
Sewell (4) - Playing at his ranking and having a solid season
Howard (3) - Playing at his ranking, doing ok
Sadler (4) - Playing at his ranking, but injured
Pennington (3) - Playing below his ranking his entire career. I think he is injured again because I haven't seen him
Oconnell (4)- Playing below his ranking, been injured and redshirting I believe
Wade (3) - Playing below his ranking, been injured and redshirting
Reed (4) - Playing below his ranking, out with an injury all year, redshirting
Young (3) - Playing below his ranking, out with an injury all year, redshirting

Lawson (3) - Playing above his ranking, wasn't highly recruited but getting a lot of solid playing time
Patterson (4) -Playing way below his ranking, hasn't seen the field much at all his entire career (needs to be cut and replaced with transfer portal guy/or new recruit)
Mayo (4) - Playing below ranking, not seeing field and being redshirted
Denhoff (4) - Playing below ranking, but being forced to play because of terrible depth
Hoeffler (4) - Playing below ranking, was hoping to see him produce more this year considering our lack of options at this position

Feagin (4) - Playing below his ranking, he was a star in the Spring game, where is he in these mop up games?
Oliver (3) - Playing below his ranking, injured and out for the year
Hampton (4) - Playing at his ranking, he will be a future star, but taking his lumps right now

Barnes (3) - Playing at his ranking this year, I liked him better at his old Nickel position better last year

Jones (4) - Playing below his ranking and not seeing the field that much, did have an INT though. He will be a good one, but think they are trying to redshirt

Covil (4) - Playing below his ranking, but seeing quite a bit of time. Not sure he is the answer back there, but the coaches trust him
