The men finished 2nd (+13) at the Carpet Capital Collegiate played in Dalton ( The Farm ). Auburn won the tournament at +4. Clemson finished 3 strokes ahead of Scar (+16). Rough weekend for Chicks.
The Lady Tigers began their season in Charleston ( Yeamans Hall ) at the Cougar Classic ( probably a few jokes there ). Last time I checked, they were in the middle of the pack. Some encouraging news though. Both highly ranked incoming freshmen shot good rounds. Stephenson (E) and Hewson (-1). I believe Hewson is from the UK. Wouldn't mind seeing Penley go after some kids from Scotland & Ireland, but that's another topic. This is a 3 day tournament concluding on Tuesday. I'll update if I have some time on Mon & Tues.
