This is not just a republicans vs democrats thing. This is a We The People vs the Government thing. Both sides of government have been living off the gravy train that is the People. They have allowed fraud / waste to creep into our system with no way for accountability. We have elected officials from both sides making unheard of returns in the stock market. Returns that would make legends like Warren Buffet drool. This is a tax on we the people in addition to the already high taxes we already pay, and in addition to the tax that is inflation.


The taxpayer has become numb and beaten down. They have accepted mediocrity, or worse.

Our government does not have to be this way. I hope republicans and democrats demand accountability from our officials.

Ain't no doubt about it. Plenty of blame to place on both sides. They should be ashamed but won't be unless they are caught and exposed.

Definitely hope anyone using the government and the taxpayers to enrich themselves is brought to justice. As long as it is both impartial (consistent and across the aisle) and just (someone getting money for a cause they support but not profiting isn't the same thing) I couldn't support it more.

Also wish they could find a way to prevent the insider trading that is rampant on both sides. They should be able to have a blind trust and profit from growth in the stock market like the rest of us, but not insider trade. I have big concerns at the recent swings in the stock market related to the various announcements on tariffs etc. Hope there are people watching. Someone on the inside of those announcements and subsequent pull backs, could buy and sell back and forth and make a fortune in a short time period.

This will never stop until people go to jail. R/D/I. People need to go to jail.

You can't "shame" them. They don't care. Jail would wake them up, and that's what needs to happen.

Love Thomas Massie - probably my favorite member of congress. Trump is wrong here and he can pitch a fit all he wants, the people of Kentucky will easily re-elect Massie.
