It has to be collective and both parties have to want to participate. There's so many things to work on but it has to start with intentionality from everyone involved. Blacks feel that anytime progress has been made that the government will come and sabotage it. No need for me to share examples. In my opinion there are plenty of issues but the largest issues to me are to:

Modify the school systems so that resources are more evenly dispersed. Sale taxes provide resources for the school districts.
Judicial system is enough said there.
Housing system - gentrification to redlining to keep minority's out of predominantly white neighborhoods. I've got some interesting research on real estate and its association with the demographics of said neighborhoods.

Another thing is Black folks have to become more engaged with local politics as that will have more of a direct affect on their lives. These are huge areas that have to be addressed but I believe it's possible.

You actually think the people protesting are predominantly unemployed people or living off government assistance? Wow! i hope I'm taking you out of context again because theres actually quite a mix of folks out there protesting. I've got contacts on the ground there in the midst of this. It's all ages and multiple races of people protesting. There's multiple contingents of AA groups/organizations there.

Black professionals from surrounding states are planning to go to Charlotte this weekend to support the protest. The youngins need some leadership but most of the older generation of black males fell victim to Hillary's crime bills of the 90s. So there's a generational void in terms of leadership. I don't agree with the rioting at all but I have no problem with peacefull protests.
