Trump’s disclosure of classified intelligence

You know if this was Obama in his home you would all want him tried for treason (and for me it would be disqualifying for anyone to be president, period. Regardless of party).

Of course, Trumpers are going to minimize this, but even you completely brainwashed Trumpers have to admit that nuclear documents that are top secret that Trump could have given back must give you pause.

The man is a complete disaster. Full stop. Defending him at this point means you only care about your partisan ideology (and your feelings) and not America.

Nothing like the President disclosing top secret intelligence from an ally to a geopolitical enemy, eh
How many times are we going to regurgitate these same type stories about each and every candidate/president/president’s son, etc?

yawn

Getting sleepy.

Please cite when a former president or anyone took classified NUCLEAR information--was given every opportunity to give it back, REFUSED to do so? You can't.

Trump takes every opportunity to trash anyone that tries to hold him accountable when he breaks the law and that is what he clearly did here--KNEW IT and trashed the FBI, claimed the planting of evidence, trying to stoke violence following the raid--the man is trying to tear the country apart and people accepting it are the sheeple he is preying on.

Washington Post reporting the Mar la go raid was about retrieving highly classified nuclear weapons documents.

We’ll have to see if it’s true but why would highly classified info that could compromise our national security be stored at a golf course?

I’ve never seen a man rustle so many man panties in the history of the world. It really is the damndest thing.

I don’t even care if Trump runs again, but you people are sincerely overtaken by this man. To the point of health concern.

You just woke me up laughing.
You just keep proving all my points.

But you do you--it is your right to hate America and liberty and try to tear down democracy in the service of a demagogue named Trump. True patriots will continue to stand up for the Constitution and the rule of law.

I love how we’ve gone from, Trump’s a businessman that’s gonna shake up Washington and drain the swamp to, he’s just doing what they all do.

The irony and hypocrisy is pathetic. Did he not campaign on “lock her up?”

Talking about the former POTUS and presumptive Republican nominee on a political forum, shocker!

Lol.

Hey--if you start to distance yourself even in the slightest from Trump--I'm happy for you.

I’m certain you are an incredible American.

I have an incredible life… and I built it while any and every President came & went the last 2 decades.

My personal choice of president has no bearing on my successful life.

I’ve got everything I want.

Some of you folks live and die this stuff. To the point of obsession. Trump has you so uptight, you can’t function.

Christ it’s like dealing with children lol
I don’t care for Biden at all.. I think he’s a lifelong political crook who can’t even put a sentence together at this point.

Also.. I just sold my house during Biden’s tenure, and netted nearly $2MM in a 2 year flip. This isn’t even one of my two businesses.

Do you understand?

i think it's bc a lot of people look beyond their own little world. it's an incredibly selfish POV, but one i don't belabor you for having. i just find it highly ironic that someone who constantly mentions their faith can have such little care for others less fortunate.

You have no idea what I (or anyone else here) do/does for others.

Those who do, don’t talk about it. You best believe, “to whom much is given, much is expected”.

that's cute and all, and good for you on whatever charitable causes you support. when you say shit like "i've got everything i want. everything i do is for my family. etc" it comes across as impossibly shallow. there are others out there who are less fortunate and weren't given the same opportunities or benefits in their lives. wanting to see a better life for them and having a POV that isn't "**** em, if they can't support themselves they should be dead" is something that it seems you lack. it's a common theme i've found in most diehard GOP members. they can't seem to look beyond their little bubble

I came from a middle class family with a very modest income.

I began my career on a forklift for $11/hour. 60 days later I went out into sales for this company and I built a book of business on my own, working for peanuts. I took a loan 15 years into this venture and bought the company. I educated myself on how to run and further build it. I then educated myself on how to negotiate selling such a company, and after nearly 20 years, I sold my company for 8 figures at the age of 40.

I now own other businesses, one I created, and one I bought. When I say I have everything I want, I’m not referring to the financial portion. I worked my ass off for everything I have. Incredible wife, 2 kids, and business success(es). If I die tomorrow, I made it. I set my wife & children up for life… which has always been my goal.

Self taught, self made. Don’t think for one second I’m not aware where my opportunities came from, or what responsibilities my success requires. You can bet your ass I understand what I’m supposed to do, and what kind of person I’m supposed to be.

Don’t get it twisted, kindness & toughness aren’t mutually exclusive.

I’ll repeat.. you have no idea what I (or anyone else) do for others. Helping others is what makes the world go round. You can’t out give God.

i ask myself what the hell am i doing even opening a post as it is total hogwash on all sides and posts

so let me now leave and enjoy my day because it pains my brain to understand the fog here

i'm happy for you, truly, but you're skirting my whole point. i'm glad you were able to find success without having to get a college degree - your story is very admirable. my whole point is not everyone is afforded the natural advantages you had growing up. that's not to say everyone could do what you did, because there are millions of examples of people in similar situations not succeeding like you did that came from similar backgrounds with similar advantages.

How is it, you have an understanding of my “natural advantages” during my youth? I went to college for 5 years… I began that playing basketball for 2 of those years. I worked the entire time to help make it happen. I might come off as a strong personality here (as I also am in the real world), but my heart is/always has been, good.

Of course there are many folks who don’t make it. I’ve failed, several times… I kept going. When you’ve done it the way I have, you won’t accept just “giving up”… That said, everyone needs a helping hand along the way. Part of being successful is keeping my eyes open to identify another person trying their best and not “giving up”. Rest assured I bend over backwards to help those in my path like this.

because you said you grew up in a middle class family. a lot of people don't grow up in a middle class family with a "moderate income." you could've grown up in a lower class family with no disposable income that didn't allow you to go to college. you could've come from an abusive family that didn't allow you to develop properly in your formative years. i assumed you didn't go to college bc you didn't mention it, but college tuition in the 80s/90s (when i'm assuming you went to school) was drastically cheaper than it is today, considering tuition costs outpace inflation by about 170%. the average home today is 130% more expensive, over inflation, than the same home in 1990. it's things like that which i call the "natural advantages" that people your, and my age, don't seem to understand or at least acknowledge.

For the record, my family never had “disposable income, when I was a child. My dad once recently told me, he and my mom never once had more than $2,000 saved in a bank account, until the time I was around 18. I had loving parents who worked hard and did the best they could. I’m very humbled by the sacrifices they made, and I attribute my success to them, and their faith in God. My faith came from them.

I do acknowledge others being less fortunate, and I do sympathize. I’ll just say it to make my point… I started a foundation to help less fortunate kids get a private school education/opportunity in my area. Just recently I contributed/raised nearly $50k in a matter of 4 weeks and paid for 2 educations to two separate kids of the likes you just mentioned.

I agree with you on helping those less fortunate. We may disagree in the fashion of it being done, but we both desire the same thing. This understanding so often gets lost when politics are inserted. You (and other TI liberals) are good people, and likewise on the flip-side here. It’s a shame politics cloud that as often as they do.
