Trump rally in Florida ...

The voting thing was a joke not in the realm of nazism

I've voted for every Republican for President since Ford..................I absolutely detest the Republican Establishment now.............I like Cruz but he can't win.........Voting for Trump is giving the middle finger to all of them...............

Trump doesn't get over 40% of the vote. So no, the Republican Party hasn't left you. It's just a case of there being a very unusual place and time. Assigning all that to Nazi like racial bull is a pretty wrong headed way to go!

Too many candidates and Trump touched a nerve....still think Rubio would have been the best chance to beat Hillary

Trumps campaign is cult like. It's about him, not ideas. That is the analogy being made. Loyalty to a person rather than ideas. The leader blaming everyone else and promising a return to greatness by following him, little regard for minority groups, threats to those that dare to disagree, emotional followers that are voting in protest rather than for something. Eerily similar to an earlier darker period.

That was the same exact thing that propelled Obama to the White House-maybe it appeared to be kinder and gentler, but it was the same exact thing.

And has Trump said anything against any minority groups that are US Citizens-not sure what little regard for minority groups means? Has he proposed some type of rollback of rights for a particular minority group of US Citizens? That would be shocking if true. I haven't seen that but to be honest Ive watched like 15 minutes of one debate, they are so bad its hard to take them seriously with the pompous moderators asking dumb questions.

If you think Trump is mean you either need to get informed or feel below your balls to see if you have a vagina.
Mean ...no he's a liberal punk that would be worse than the fool we have now .... Never thought that would be possible in two lifetimes let alone back to back...

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would see America elect such a bafoon that our military would not even work for him. This is the type of stuff that happens in Egypt, and other radical countries, not America!

Listen man I feel you pain in terms of these are awful candidates, and the Republican party became so weak with the likes of Boehner, Romney, Graham, etc., that they were ripe to be punked by a blowhard like Trump-in the long run it might be a plus for the party.

But any military officers that don't understand their place to take orders from their elected civilian officials, don't let the door hit you. I imagine a lot of them didn't like some of the orders they received from Obama or Bush, but they did their duty. And regardless of what they say, they would under Trump as well.

Some orders are illegal and cannot be followed... Every officer, NCO and enlisted soldier is trained on this.

I agree, same line. I can't believe we as a country are willing to fall for it bac to back. For the past 20 years we have followed up each president with one that was worse. I can't begin to explain the actions and words of DJT to my daughter.

This has got to end.

So you are saying they should commit war crimes if asked to do so by their President? No. This is America, not Germany post World War I.

I'm sure the German people were good people following WWI. But, following the WWI the sanctions levied on Germany absolutely crushed their economy and their people. They felt they had no future unless they did something radical and they elected the most radical leader they could find. Did the German people believe exterminating the Jews, the handicapped, the mentally challenged, etc. was morally the right thing to do? No, I don't think those were things they would normally consider as part of their moral code, but because they were so angry at the world and felt so oppressed they turned a blind eye to all of the evil Hitler perpetuated. They looked at it as just a necessary evil and convinced themselves it was justified and allowed them to lead them anyway because they were so mad and so angry. But it wasn't OK and it wasn't justified. Nothing changed that made anything Hitler represented OK. He should have never been an acceptable alternative to their oppression.

There is a faction of the American public that is rightfully pissed and fed up. They want their lives to change. They are fed up with weak leadership. As a result, they are willing to leave their morals and their core beliefs behind and their common sense behind and willing to vote for the one man who spews the most anger and seems to be the most radical. The one man who is sure to blow everything up, just like the Germans did 80+ years ago. That man in America today is Donald Trump.

I'm not saying Trump is equivalent to Hitler, but the analogy works. It's the same frustration that is leading the American people to forgo who they are and all that they believe to vote for such a fraud as an act of desperation and frustration. I understand the frustration, and their frustration is justified, but their choice for President is not. I hope that they fail.

I'm a registered Republican and I will always vote that way. Initially; Trump wasn't my choice; but even then I knew he was a heck of a lot better choice than Hillary or Bernie. Slowly, I've warmed up to Trump. He doesn't worry about being politically correct. ( we have waaaay too much of that these days) He isn't afraid to say what most of us are thinking anyway. Saw this by an anonymous author and it sums things up. It states an analogy why so many are in favor of Trump.-------- " You've been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You want them gone immediately….You call the city and four different exterminators, but nobody could handle the job. There is this one guy however , Who guarantees you he will get rid of them, so you hire him. You don't care if the guy smells, you don't care if the guy swears, you don't care how many times he's been married, you don't care if he was friends with liberals, you don't care if he has a plumbers crack… You simply want those raccoons gone! You want your problem fixed! He's the guy, he's the best! Period! Here's why we want Trump: yes he's a bit of an ass, yes he's an egomaniac, but we don't care. The country is a mess because politicians have become too self-serving. The Republican Party is two- faced and gutless. Illegal aliens have been allowed to invade our nation. We want it all fixed! We don't care that Trump is crude, we don't care that he insults people, we don't care that he had been friendly with Hilary, and we don't care that he has changed positions, we don't care that he's been married three times, we don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O'Donnell. We don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslim terrorist. This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal aliens and bringing in tens of thousands of Muslim refugees to America, and leaving Christians behind to be persecuted. We are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo, and Hasid is part of a special group with special rights, to the point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in and we just want it fixed! And Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want! We're sick of politicians. We're sick of the Democratic party and the Republican Party. We just want this thing fixed. Trump may not be a saint, but he isn't beholden to lobbyist money and he doesn't have political correctness restraining him. All we know is that he has been very successful, he's an excellent negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he's also not a politician. When he says he'll fix it, we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and be called a liar. Oh yeah… I forgot… We don't care if the guy has bad hair either! We just want those Raccoons gone. Out of the house. Now!!!"
Those are exactly my feelings and I'm aboard the Trump train all the way to Pennsylvania Ave. Ordered my tee shirt too. I'm ready for him to make America great again.....

They wouldn't commit war crimes nor would they be asked to. A president Trump (extremely unlikely that happens) would have legal guys advising him on all that stuff. The military doesn't like him because he rightfully called the F 35 an awful POS, and they don't like the proletariat questioning their trillion dollar fighter program.

Can't blame that author for wanting to be anonymous.

Curious; what do you disagree with?
Mainly, that it's a long (and tortuous) way to go for an analogy.

But all this stuff:

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal aliens and bringing in tens of thousands of Muslim refugees to America, and leaving Christians behind to be persecuted.

is laughable to me. It's out of fearmongering 101.

I'm not, and you shouldn't be, ashamed to say that I live in the greatest country in the world.

I'm not ashamed of my country. But I sure as heck don't like some things I'm seeing and the direction we are going. And I think it's an excellent analogy.

you are right. its ok to "say things against minority groups" if they arent US citizens. I mean, non-us citizens are barely people! AMIRITE!?!?!

also, get over yourself and watch the debates.
