Trump whips out the big stick, threatening 25% tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China until they stop the flood of illegals and drugs into the US.

Within 40 minutes Mexico was begging for mercy. Within days Canada’s Trudeau was flying to Mar a Lago to grovel.

4 years of Carrots didn’t work. 40 minutes of Stick did the job.

This is so ****ing stupid.

American consumers cannot afford a 25% increase in the cost of goods. The housing industry can't afford lumber at those prices. This is a disaster.

Guess the highest inflation in 50 years wasn't enough for you huh?
Apparently not for any of us. If you think tariffs are going to reduce the cost of goods, you’re too smart for me

High inflation is not good, but maybe they consider drugs, crime, overcrowding of schools and diverting resources from US citizen children, and blatant disregard for our country's laws to be worse?
Sure but after they deport "15 million" (his number) who will pick your rutabagas? Will you be stepping up?

There will not be a 25% increase in the cost of goods for Americans, but you didn't mind it when Ole Joe raised prices by 25% on his own through inflation.

The cost of everything will come down due to his policies. I'm sure you won't agree, but for every illegal alien that is not let in, benefits the USA in the long run.

I could stand to cut back on my rutabega consumption. They have a lot of raffinose and that really makes me bloated and gassy. But I still like them and I was actually hoping that you would be available to help out. However, knowing that is a long shot, I take solace in the fact that no matter what happens we have a while before Rutabega production grinds to a standstill.

The illegals sitting in jail, don't really pick all that many. Same with those gang banging and moving drugs. Sorting those folks out and getting them gone will take a while, which will give us time.

In the meantime, while I wean myself off of cheap rutabegas, I can enjoy tasty things like less rape, less disease, less drug addition, gang violence, and death at the hands of people who shouldn't be here anyway. And, you know, we may just be able to come up with a solution to rutabega production before my withdrawal symptoms get too bad.

I laughed. I don't think anyone disagrees with deporting criminal illegals but isn't that already supposed to be happening? It's hard to know what to believe because there's so much conflicting information out there but some reporting says there is a very small percentage of those people.

But back on subject, it's what you do with the ones after that that will determine what happens with inflation. I'm all for speeding up asylum hearings so we can quickly determine the ones who don't have good cases, but we all know you can't deport all 11-15 million without causing a lot of harm to the economy. I saw an article the other day where homebuilders were begging Trump not to follow through with deporting them in the numbers we're hearing because it would unnecessarily harm them. All I know is costs in many industries will soar if you deport all of them because Americans aren't willing to backfill those jobs.

Zoom out: Removing immigrants deemed threats to national security and public safety has been a priority in President Biden's administration.
  • Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas issued a memo on Sept. 30, 2021, instructing DHS immigration officials "to prioritize the apprehension and removal of noncitizens considered to be threats to national security, public safety and border security."
Zoom out: U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Office of Field Operations, the agency's largest component, arrested 19,242 noncitizens who have been convicted of crime in the U.S. or abroad in fiscal 2024, the agency said.
  • The U.S. Border Patrol recorded 17,048 arrests of noncitizens who have been convicted of crimes in the U.S. or abroad in fiscal 2024.
  • Those noncitizens could be green card holders, immigrants with temporary protection, undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers who can appeal or fight arrests.

Did Trump impose across the board tariffs last time with 60% tariffs on all goods from China? You don't need to be a Nobel Laureate to know what that will do for inflation Peepaw.

Please tell Trump and for gods sake, work on your humor.

"but we all know you can't deport all 11-15 million without causing a lot of harm to the economy." It's totally laughable that you say it's 11-15 million. That number has been passed around for several decades. I think the true number is closer to 30-40 million.

You're gonna soon find out. People that should not be here, should not be here. I can't wait for the change.

You guys are virologists, election experts and now economists. Trumps whole clan is so impressive. On to reality where companies wouldn’t go overseas because it’s more expensive. If you want it made by people with higher manufacturing overhead it’s not coming from their profits.

I guess Mexico will pay for that too. Should I expect a check?

Did Donald Trump use Tariffs his first term?

Where was the inflation then? Inflation averaged 1.9% under Trumps first term.

lol, how’s your cause and effect? Did you think the prices would change instantly?

If tariffs were what was causing inflation, and inflation was the biggest issue to the voters, don’t ya think sleepy joe should have removed the tariffs? Did he remove them? Asking for @DW4_2016

Ok to start off.... they are ALL crimminals. Each and every one. They were ok with breaking our laws for their own personal gain and they didn't give two fvcks about what that meant for actual US citizens and still don't. They shouldn't be here and neither should any kids that they had while they were here. We need to go back to calling them illegal aliens. and we need to fix however we ended up with the jacked up state of affairs that gives an alien here in this country the right to produce a US citizen without some process that gives actual US citizens a voice if a US citizen wasn't a part of the process that made that kid. But i digress.

Good lets speed up asylum hearings. I agree. 100%. But the illegal aliens that are here don't somehow get to jump the line. They need to get into the line that they cut. Pretty simple concept, I think. Good on them for getting what they got but going forward, if they want to ride they need to get a wristband. Give everyone a choice. Register as an alien who is here illegally and take your chances, or don't, and face the 100% certainty of eventual deportation. Pretty shitty choice if you ask me, but when you are a criminal, your choices aren't always the greatest. After a certain time, then guess what? If you self identify via some other means such as to be determined, like, getting arrested, or applying for some sort of benefits or whatever then, don't pass go and do collect your ticket to somewhere else. But the economy! Well, , i think there are some things that just have to be done. This is one of them. I don't give a shit. We are a nation. A nation with laws or we arent. We protect our kids and our society or we do not. The threshold for deportation does not have to be static it can be fungible as we start to solve this problem that we have allowed to happen.

Finally, while i appreciate your citing of sources, It really does not matter to me. This current admin has ben an abject disaster and in conjunction with the Democratic Party and Democrat members of Congress have exacerbated the problem that we face.... all in the name of keeping power. Time for a new approach starting right the fvck now. Lets re-evaluate in 2 or 3 years.

BOOM!!

Does anybody remember what the “Ninth Circuit” was like BEFORE Trump?

It was the most leftwing circuit court in the country.

But Trump flipped the courts by forcing McConnell to approve all his judicial appointments in record time.

What did the Ninth Circuit just rule?

“The federal government has the authority to deport foreign nationals in the U.S. illegally over the objection of local authorities, a panel of three judges on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously ruled.”

justthenews.com/nation/states/…

This was a UNANIMOUS decision.

Our new border Czar is about to be unleashed.

We are winning on a daily basis!!
Are you tired of winning yet?

I won’t pick anything. I saw what happened. Don’t forget, your orange god sent out checks too. Had his name on them and sent them out shortly before the election. I wonder if printing out checks from the government and sending them to everyone would affect inflation?

BREAKING: Biden locks in "Work From Home" Deal for 42K Social Security workers until 2029!

This effectively locks in Deep State Fed workers so that Elon and Vivek at @DOGE cannot order them back into the office 5 days per week as planned.

DOGE should now just use Vivek's strategy of mass firings to downsize staff to sustainable levels.

Senator Susan Collins
Senator Lisa Murkowski
Senator John Curtis
Senator Lindsey Graham
Senator Mitch McConnell
Senator John Thune

That is who won’t commit to voting for Hegseth.

Susan Collins voted for every single one of Biden’s nominees, including Merrick Garland.

Thune voted yes on 13 of Biden’s cabinet appointments.

Mitch McConnell voted yes on 16 of Biden’s cabinet appointments.

John Cornyn voted yes on 16 of Biden’s cabinet appointments.

Lisa Murkowski voted yes on 19 of Biden’s cabinet appointments.

The cabinet that Biden appointed was the single worst cabinet in American history, and they helped to destroy this country from within, and all five of these losers voted for the majority of those people so when they sit there and tell you that Biden destroyed the country, they helped.

As far as Curtis is concerned, I don’t know what the heck is going on in Utah, but how can a red state have a Mitt Romney number two.

By the way now you know why the Republican establishment was all too happy with losing the senate seats in Arizona, Nevada and Wisconsin? Because if we had those three seats, we wouldn’t need three of those losers.
