I have been a Clemson fan for a while. Not as long as many but I’ll say West was the coach. I remember thinking if I ever saw Clemson win a NT I would be shocked !! I went to Clemson during TB. So to say anything, seeing what we accomplished from 2013-2020, is really amazing. Now on to the hard stuff.
When NIL and transfer portal happened, I knew we were dead and not fully at Dabos responsibility. We don’t have the money in the alumni base to pay players then Watch them transfer . Just watching this game UGA had way more transfers making plays than i would have thought. Then you mean to tell me a Freshman RB from Compton picked Athens over others because of the school … atleast back in the day UGA had to try and hide the money. Now we see Ohio State flaunting a 20 mil roster. We don’t have that…
I don’t know what the fix is. If we had the money for recruiting, I would say we have a good roster every 4 years … but the players if they are slightly disgruntled can leave…
