I strongly suspect that Clemson just didn't "show the love" to Simpson and Greene in order to land them because further evaluations showed Klubnik and Williams to be better. In both cases, Rivals ratings were high and less than stellar senior campaigns diminished their stock somewhat (rankings rarely drop for Alabama acquisitions).
