and don't have anyone to check on the house. I always have this fear of a water line rupturing in an upstairs bathroom, and flooding the house while I am gone. It has never happened to me, but I always think about it. That said, I am thinking about shutting off the water supply to the house, while I am gone. Any downside to doing that? Anybody else do that?
