Have a house in Seneca on Lake Hartwell. My neighbors are experiencing frequent leaks and blown PRVs. Tests reveal consistently high pressure (160 psi at street. Seneca Water guy comes out and declares he's never seen it this high anywhere in all his experience, and says everyone needs to install multiple PRVs and because the PRVs can't even handle that pressure, we should all just replace them every year with new ones. This feels like an absurd response from the provider. Anyone else faced this before? @scartiger does this make sense?

Please help. I am not in the mood to deal with blown water lines and blown PRVs annually. But the guy from Seneca Water said there's nothin g he can do. Thanks all.
