she has had fluid build up in her lungs for 8 wks now. Constantly going in to get them drained. They have spent half that time doing testing to try to figure out what is going on. She has never smoked a day in her life and she was very healthy prior. It just came out of nowhere. Again, it may just be coincidence but we’ll never know.
Btw, I agree, the kidney stone story is nonsense.
While this is true, income and education level seem to play a pretty big part in vaccination rates too. I've also seen the political party affiliation argument, but I'm not so sure it holds up as well.
The difference between correlation and causation are difficult for some to wrap their hands around.
Not that it really should matter, but we know ow 90%+ of minorities vote.
I have not seen any numbers to know for sure one way or another, but I would guess there are more who voted democrat than republican that are unvaxed.
I certainly don't discount the information in that chart, but is fairly vague. For reference, if you look at vaccination rates in high biden vote cities such as Chicago, the vax% in the poorer zip codes where a majority of the minority population lives is much lower than the rest of the city/county. I suspect there are some counties that voted for trump that have minority populations that are included in the non vaxed numbers. My point is that taking whole counties and not specifically democrats/republicans can skew (perceived) data.
That’s exactly why I said there is evidence but that I wasn’t quite buying in. Id be willing to bet there is correlation between densely populated areas and more rural and vaccination rates. There just so happens to be stronger Republican leanings in those rural areas. The covid experience has been drastically different in those areas of this country.

My initial reply was to a poster who implied rednecks(infer dumb racist white people)were the vast majority of the unvaxed and I was pointing out the fallacy of his argument. You are absolutely correct about the mask wearing. Just based on personal observation, minorities are wearing masks at a much higher level compared to white people.
If we start requiring vaccination passports to enter a hospital, then problem solved. Let Darwinism work it’s magic.
